Bloody hell, 87 parts? That's some kind of uploading dude. Not sure how much of this I'll manage to watch but I'm starting here, I'll post in the last part if I get that far :D
Best tournament 9 ball player of all time (Earl Strickland) against the best pool player of all time (Efren Reyes). Can't get much better than that. Best 9 ball upload on utube.
Earl should have won this match by a huge margin (like 20 games) he is like a 4-time US Open 9-ball champion (if I am correct) Reyes while he played a lot of 9-ball, plays so many other types of pool while it seems that earl concentrated on 9-ball. Earl also can be vicious towards opponents/spectators, but i have never once seen him with any issue towards Efren, he really respects reyes. Maybe it was the lighting, but was the table they were using in brand new condition? Are there better tables?
Strickland lost his temper a few times at least during this match, and in a match this close at the end, earl could have lost the match with his impatience. Earl plays the game at too fast a pace. I think Earl is the best 9-ball player of all time, but doesn't play nearly as many games as well as Efren, Efren plays great straight pool as well as a million other games. Earl doesn't have the patience for pool he is too manic. 9-ball takes less patience, which Earl doesn't have.
Reyes is extremely calm playing, Strickland always looks tense/wound up and even about to snap! Strickland I think is a better pure shotmaker, but Reyes is a better all-around player and his position, control and safeties are better. Reyes also plays position very differently than even the pro players on tour... his cue-ball control is so good that he plays position his OWN way, I'll put it that way.
Mark the emcee was goofing around when all of a sudden he was told that he was already on air. 1:21 haha! you can see the surprise in his eyes. very funny.
When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Get Going! That's how i described Efren Reyes in the whole match.Unable to have a good breaks in most of the racks and down by 17 still he managed to win the game. Can you imagine if earl s"crying baby". is on that position??? :)
good thing you uploaded it, memorable match! :)

Folks, THIS is nine-ball, better than anyone has ever played it, is playing it now, and will ever play it.
Watch all 237 games repeatedly. Learn something.
That is all.
