the interviewer is definitely a nice lady :) she could wore something sexier tho! i think lou really represent usa thinking and the side to a great country you americans should try to rescue? go lou!! cheers!! :D
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS PARADE OF FACT. WE NEED MORE EURO-TV here, but the sane are leaving anyway, who wants to live in a police state where all pleasure is illegal, and all women Medusa?
the fucking procupine interview ok i get it now good thing i didnt ask during the other three parts that is an awesome name, does anybody else feel slightly stupid after watching lou reed
looking back i must of felt pretty stupid 6 months ago, after watching this now (just this part) I don't think he is smarter, nor do I think he tries to be, he just is, if that makes sense.
When I say Mr Rose, I mean Charlie Rose. America's top interviewer. Getting interviewed by him is like getting your face on the cover of "Time". (well....not really, but you get what I mean)
If Lou likes you he will open up. He obviously did'nt care too much for Mr. Rose. When he was here in New Zealand last (1985) ,a sexy female journalist sat down nervously to interview "the man" and asked him a personal question straight out. What did Lou do? He stubbed his cigerette out between her thighs and walked outa the room.
lou reed is not a celebrity. interviews are normally the showcase for fame, but lou reed is an artist first. aesthetics is not the usual topic for any tv interview, and journalism is the antithesis of art. lou reed typically takes a page out of the warhol playbook- look them in the eye and answer every question by saying nothing at all. this is the most i have ever heard him say about his work. if you want to see and hear a really painful interview "youtube" lou reed on charlie rose- ouch.
why? she seems to be doing a valiant attempt at interviewing a difficult character. Lou is a pain in the ass to deal with, I know, I've worked with him.
Damn good interview ... fucking damn good!

This woman here is a lady, she has truly done a great job on the show, and I have to agree whole heartedly with Dex2345's comment underneath.

this lady was able to draw him out like I have never seen before.
Captivating.

zo Nederlands, geweldig. Dit soort interviews heb je niet in America.
Typical Dutch, you don't have these type of interviews in the USA, all censored.

I have never seen Lou Reed as happy and accessible until this one. He must have drunk a lot of carrot juice.
