Cooo! Well I didn't know until now that Phil did this version of the Tony Ettoria classic. Nice job though. Well pleased to have found it. Thanks for posting.
This song is bloody amazing !! Its so cool. I hope one day it gets covered one dayl, I could just see Justin Timberlake doing a song like this and bringing this great 80's pop/soul/funk back !! Long live Ashford & Simpson, Ohio Players and The SOS Band.
Hey people - wake up - listen to the original by Tony Etoria !- from Cardiff, South Wales U.K. - I even know his original backing singers, to this day! The ORIGINAL is definitely the best!
classic.....lurv how the background singers come in....the piano..and the gutar..and his voice...this defines an era for me...keep on playin his stuff and good music for life peeps....
I have started a Phil Fearon & Galaxy Appreciation Group on Facebook. Please support him and show him that we still love his music by joining the group. Many thanks.
@afrobrazileroo i was born in 1984 still to this day this is my favorite music. that s why i only create real music like this non stop u got to check out moonlight ora.
most people dont know about phil fearons influence he is amazing i heard one song what do i do and i was hooked and got more then dman now im a Phil fan
I cannot quite remember this one but it clearly goes to show how brilliant SAW have been. You could argue they were only producing innocent commercial and formularic pop songs. THIS one though proves the autenthicity of their style and skills as this is a great and accomplished black artist using their touch! FANTASTIC and TRUE QUALITY.
I agree with you. SAW could do much better than just producing 'cheesy'pop songs. Maybe they could have been bigger in the late nighties when pop was over and r&b was taking over. But they sticked with disco/dance and that was over at that time bands like Soul II Soul came along.
tune!!! love this music,
