Listen to Foxy Shazam, they're a prime example of how music can be fun yet contain passion and meaning. Well the honest thing is if you gather about 100 people off the street and say "Hey listen to this pop punk song" and then you play Wolves At The Door, Lungs Like Gallows they are gonna be like what the fuck this is like screaming and shit. Senses Fail definitely doesn't fit the pop punk scene, unless you want to continuously play about 5 of their songs which slope down towards that genre. Bands like Short Stack and Fallout Boy are pop punk, they don't play on chaos tours...

Yet the majority on that album is filled with songs resulting in a mix between screamed vocals and clean with punk elements.

Well the honest thing is if you gather about 100 people off the street and say "Hey listen to this pop punk song" and then you play Wolves At The Door, Lungs Like Gallows they are gonna be like what the fuck this is like screaming and shit. Senses Fail definitely doesn't fit the pop punk scene, unless you want to continuously play about 5 of their songs which slope down towards that genre. Bands like Short Stack and Fallout Boy are pop punk, they don't play on chaos tours...

@TheJeffMangum I agree that Senses Fail is not punk, that why i prefer Post-Hardcore, taking aspects from punk or inspiration and presenting them differently with screamed vocals, sometimes clean vocals but going to far with clean vocals could turn the song slightly down a notch resulting in some of their songs being less hardcore e.g Calling All Cars and Can't be Saved . Yet the majority on that album is filled with songs resulting in a mix between screamed vocals and clean with punk elements.

I hate this band so much. They're so shallow and hypocritical. I don't like Brokencyde at all, I think their music sucks. But for fucks sake, they enjoy what they're doing. Who the hell is this guy to say what other people can or can't enjoy. Just keep to yourself, if you don't like music, don't support it, but please for the love of god, don't bash it. It makes you look like a jackass and ignorant.
