@MegaSunnybob haha well, this production was at a small high school with a shortage of guys. So as an underclassmen girl I was cast as a Shark gang member (I believe his name was Anxious in the book) So not a very exciting role, but that show is still a BLAST! :D Now, I can confuse people by telling them I was once a Puerto Rican guy!

nvm...I have a project tomorrow, and I had the choice to choose any novel, and besides analyzing the text, I have to do something, find something really interresting, so me and my partner are going to sing Javert and Valjean's confrontation.I actually like performing better than watching plays

i knew Valjean, Javert, Eponine, and a few more so that was pretty cool, they did a great job! (i felt horrible cuz Javert was losing his voice on his final number)
if ur teacher doesn't give u an A i will have 2 TAKE HIM/HER DOWN!! lol
it was fun...the singing part was a surprise.When we finished our presentation she said "well, it was good, but it wasn't excellent, it didn't keep me awake during the whole bit..." and then when she wanted to write our grades, I said, that "Hold on, hold on...we're not finished yet...this was the paperwork part...here comes the fun part..."...she was left speechless...it felt sooo great slamming her in front of the whole class...since we hate each other...>:) :D
next week there's a small contest, called the "Music afternoon"...anyone who has a voice, can sign in,and try their luck. I'm trying to sing the "Empty chairs" song.Problem is...my voice is a bit too deep...but I think I'll manage...I managed to sing Valjean's "Who am I" song, cuz I changed the very last note...I didn't sing high...I sang it low, just like ending a classic opera song...
i know, i love the way they tie everything in and make it so seemless, everything just fits so perfectly, yet in the end it doesn't come out quite perfect.
well... i admit the movie can b a bit i guess you could say cheesy at times... but the dancing and the music is just so phenomenal that i think it overpowers the chessiness...
