Don't judge MJ's father based on media coverage. A tough man, he said in an interview that he's not comfortable talking about his feelings. He used to be a boxer and they can take a lot of punches. The media loves to portray him as a cold child beater. I'm not saying he didn't abuse his son but as Catherine says "that was 39 years ago". MJ says he forgave his dad. Terry Harvey says Joe really loved his son. I believe it. People are complex with many facets.
