actually its not FORD its a mazda or Fazda mazda made the chassis trans engine everything ford just baught the rights to produce it as the probe under their name. same with some of the trucks also. and you can do plenty with a probe 1st gens can have a 3.0 engine swap a 2.2 turbo or a 2.2 n/a 2nd gens you can boost the 2.0 its the same engine as the mazdaspeed protege when boosted and you can do the KL-ZE swap instead of the us 2.5 in the gt. mazda speed parts bolt right on not a bad car at all
