I believe that dance needed Kherringtons smile. The dance was dedicated to Jean-Marcs' daughter because the movement MOVES her. If you were touched by an angel, would you be frowning? I truly believe that the smile helped with the beautiful choreography, song, costumes and dancers incorporated with this dance. It works with the emotions!

i guess Mia Michaels didn't see the significance of that smile. for me the smile on Kherington's face would represent Jean-Marc Généreux's daughter', Francesca's, joy for the dance and i don't know if you can imagine Francesca dancing in Kherington's place. i agree with both mia and nigel here. i agree tht kherrington is amazingly beautiful and smile is fantastic and shes a beautiful dancer, i also agree that maybe she could have had a closed mouth smile occasionally but i think mia may have miss interpreted wht the dance was about, it seems like she thought it was kherrington dancing the story of the daughter, not tht they were dancing for the daughter.
