A fan for 30 years and he still takes my breath away. It even sounds like the live 77 version. He is a true legend. His playing on The Pump in 1980 made me cry and his playing on Emotion and Commotion is still doing it. Thank you Jeff my utter idol. Steve
A song that Jeff Beck claims he hates and would never play again, well low and behold what have we here? "Freeway Jam", a fan fave from 1975's best selling Jeff Beck album BLOW BY BLOW. Jason Rebello's synthesizer ride is quite nice, although I wish he would have used the Fender Rodes sound patch. There is not enough that can be said about the rhythm section of Miss Tal Wilkenfeld & Vinnie Colaiuta (bass guitar and drums respectively). What a band Jeff has assembled. His octave divider solo yes!
I love JB and came here to see him but - I'm kind of glad Tal is not there - she distracts me!

This line up is his best yet. They can not be stopped. Bring in Beth Hart on vocals for good and this band can take the world.
