  • Yes I practice catch and release. But in the lakes in Washington and Idaho its catch and eat. Way too many of te warm water fish

  • Dirty dog, dirty little dog. Lol

  • We gotta hear the story of Cory. Everyone is dying to know how he is so willing to come with you but not fish.

  • You are casting pretty weird...

  • @brillantegenio The over the head thing? I though so too until I tired it. (Obviously) It forces your arm up higher and for me gives me smoother presentations. Never question the HF!

  • Lol, i was just waiting on your dog going for the fish, quite funny to watch! Btw, have you ever had any bear run-ins, i saw in one of you videos, your dog at the time(sparrow) freaking out about what you thought may have been a bear. I also remember you saying that she saved you no less than four times. just wondered if there was anymore footage tbh. Thanks for the uploads man, keep them coming :).

  • Beauty video and you company is great to the minute 3:38, but good correction by the dog. very very good video

  • New subscriber. Great stuff, man. How do you keep your camera man from fishing? I'd be in a cold sweat by the second minute.

  • @FlyFishization Thanks man! hahaha Cory wants to fish but he is NOT ALLOWED!

  • may i please ask what the stimulator is....dry or nymph?

  • @sawrestler1313 check out 7:30 of the video. That's a stimulator.

  • I could just see the look in your dog's eyes, just couldnt resist!

  • Awesome videos! Why have i not subscribed yet?!? I will now!

  • sorry to hear about the passing of your dog. what breed with he/she?

  • @mattlindeman

thanks :), Sparrow was a red tri color aussie shepherd. She was so great i got another one.

  • what weight rod?

  • @OMGitsme3335

i was fishing a 4wt this day but i usually pack a 6wt as well.

  • don't you worry about bears? i guess thats why you always have yer lovely dogs with you? sorry to read about the one that died !

  • lol - what do you guys do!? carry those big browns around in your back pocket!? Bust 'em out when the fishing is slow and kind of unimpressive? lol

keep up the good work fellas!

  • is it some kind of white indicator you can see on the top of the surface or is it your fly?

    - i'm a little confused ;D

  • I believe i know where that creek is! Nice vid guys!

  • haha i rofl'd at 8:38 when your dog attacked the fish.

  • Awesome brookies! Do they ever get more color to them up there? I fly fish WV a good bit, there are small native brookies there, and they are a lot more vibrantly colored.

    Great video!

  • dude love your vids, sweet, although you could have keept your tippet knot a little shortrer on this one....all the best bud, you do it well : )

  • "ok im gonna catch the other one it's bigger" lol

    your a jedi i think!

  • love the HD, tiger trout!!! WTF! best vid's ever Jay!

  • Tiger trout are a cross of brook trout and brown trout. They're sterile and grow faster than either of it's compoenents.

Their primary food is fish and they're great management tool for controlling rough fish populations without worrying about them outbreeding indigenous populations.

More info about them can be found on wikipedia.

  • Another great video Jay. It's really good to see Sparrow again. Thanks for the encouraging words on my videos. Hopefully I'll be able to start making quality ones like yours soon. Keep 'em coming!

  • Another great video! Thanks!

  • Excellent work my friend! It's always fun to watch Sparrow in action! Can't wait to meet Maple this season! - trouttrek

  • Hello Jay, nice video and nice fish! Cheers from Switzerland, Jean-Paul

  • I know it isn't. It's a love/hate creek, I could kill myself there some days but other days I want to marry it.

    BRING ON THE FLOWING WATER.

  • Well done Jay. And I had to laugh at Sparrow, I knew she was going for the chomp, lol. She will be missed
