awesome music video :D i like how you cut the scenes so that they related to one another, like the one where i was expecting bernard's wedding ring to be kicked by the waiter when BAM Marahute gets caught in the trap ;)
Trivia..... the opening title sequence of the camera flying very low towards Cody's house was the debut of Pixar animation into a major motion picture.
I don't usually like old fashioned corny heroic sounding tunes like this but I love this song it's beautiful, I seem to keep listening to Cody's Flight and Overture but the main theme is wonderful too it's just lovely :)
i remember this movie i used to love it1 and i just realized i still love it =) i am actually using the song "cody's flight" for my ice skating routine :D
This sounds like a great soundtrack. Even though the music is a bit repetitive it still has many elements to it. It has the elements of sweetness, excitement, heart & feeling. The credits tune showcases a great selection from the movie which is okay because that's acceptable; a nice new piece would have been alright but Bruce Broughton's piece is acceptable. With the Aussie beat it fits in to the film in just the right way. I give the music 4.5 stars, just needed more variety.
NEWSFLASH! The person who did the music for this movie Bruce Broughton was the original composer for the film that beat The Rescuers, HOME ALONE! Chris Columbus rejected his soundtrack & replaced it with John Williams' soudtrack. Was Bruce Broughton that bad or was Chris Columbus having conflicting visions (perfectionist).
The Rescuers Down Under has been one of my favorite Disney films since I was real little. One of the few very good Disney sequels out there. And the end credits score is wonderful.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music video with all of us!
It really doesen't matter to me that there were no musical numbers; sure they would've fit in this movie but since there is beautiful score it really doesen't matter. The Black Cauldron however didn't deserve musical numbers because of the dark plot.
What a movie. This is how you make a sequel; especially for Disney. In a sequel you have to continue the story of the lives of the main charcters as they set off for new adventures; The Rescuers Down Under did so. Sure this is not perfect but it's better than some of the other DVD sequels out there. Plot-wise & Character-wise things were pretty solid. What also made it great was the played up storyline; going to Austrailia for a mission was big. This film earns 4 stars; in line with all needs.
I watched this movie back in the day when I wasn't terrified of mice. Now there are a few chillin between the crevices of my room, and I AM PETRIFIED

Does anyone else agree that this theme song is super inspired by Beethoven's 5th- 4th movement?

One of the only few Disney sequels I like.
I love how they got John Candy to voice Wilbur and George C. Scott to voice McLeach.
