They let Beck take the bulk of it because he is WITHOUT DOUBT the best guitar player on any stage he is on. Now, I understand that some of you have your favorites BUT, you will notice that whenever he is on stage with Clapton or Page or WHOEVER, they always step back and let Beck take over. There is a reason for this. People who play know the best when they see it. Beck is in a different class from anybody else up there.

Of all of the musicians here, Page is the highest selling, his solo's are voted best in the world, the band he founded is the most well known rock band in the world apart from the Beatles (who are really a pop band), and he was in the band that this song was written by, and he doesn't get even a solo...stupid!!!

@PBANDSNOW Well I am not 100% on this but if you listen to the version from the film Blow Up - the clip is on here there are no guitar solos at all and that was Jeff and Jimmy .

Also there were too many guitarists on stage - if they'd all done a solo they'd still be therre now !! Jimmy's best guitar licks were always in Zepellin - it was what he had worked up to after years of experimenting . I still like the 1969 Zepellin stuff - When I was 18 !!
