the guitar is very nice and crisp you have a great sound. song sounds awesome in know it's hard creating drums on a software program but maybe work on the snare fills and change up the hit impacts on the snare every once in a while. I started changing the hit impact on the snare when I use pro tools and it does wonders- makes it sound 2X better. Sounds good keep it up!

I can see your trying to go for the Satriani type of thing, but you need to get a better drum track because it doesn't fit quite well. Also change thebackround to make it more interesting for us. On the plus side you are a GREAT guitarist, but sound a bit too much like Satriani so explore some other genres and create your own sound because this could've came straight off one of his cd's. Nonetheless, great skills, good song, add vocals.

@ChristopheDeremy I agree with most of the comments made by immoralbutton. However, I don't necessarily agree with his comment about the drum track. It's not bad, but it's not as good as your guitar playing. It could sound better if it were miked and mixed a bit better. All in all, a very decent track!

@immoralbutton There's no such thing as too much like Satriani :P It is definitely influenced by him, but certainly couldn't have come off one of his CD's. But I do agree, imitation is helpful in learning and progressing, but I think it would be beneficial to try and find that sound that connects with your soul when you play.

@immoralbutton I really agree with you to the nth degree. The drum track is more like a harsh metal style. My bands main songwriter always creates drum tracks when records a song to be presented to the band, and usually they are quite hallow and are only approximating what should be happening.

Cristophe, immoralbutton is right. You are a magnificent guitarist with crazy good technique. My lead guitarist likes SRV a bit too much at times and needed to refocus and let his own style out.

Where it sounds like it is getting choppy because you can no longer hear the key

May I suggest you redubb with you playing a light low background to key the ear of the listener hearing the WAH wahwah wah waaaaaaah.( the slides), or put a bass line in there that reminds you of what the key should be.
