Thats actually in the rules. If you have a 5 guys in base contact and your opponent attacks first and kills 5 guys you don't get to attack back. If you have 5 guys in the front and lose 3. 2 of your guys get to attack back

You also forgot that black orcs without a boss or character, are useless as shit against charging units.

Black orcs are designed for shock waaagh! charges. ie. declare waaagh!, cast big waaagh! spell for extra 2d6", and you can have the mofos move 26" in one turn if you roll well.

The sounds came from a few different places. Sometimes I have to Google for quite a while ! :(

Sorry they weren't painted, try some of my Battle Royal hero videos which only feature painted miniatures.

Only one orc should have died from the horses as he got a three on one of the rolls.

im fairly certain that casualties are removed from the back rank of a unit because it is assumed that when a fighter falls another will step forward to fight in its place

yes that is true, but it is also assumed that the fighter stepping forward is in the midst of doing so and thus cannot attack that turn.

Yes you are right. I just removed them from the front rank for effect. Note however that if a model is killed, even though they are replaced in the front rank, they do not get to strike back that turn.
