I agree with you Kitty , her voice and her ability to hold notes and to reach new paths within the songs she choose changes constantly sometimes from week to week there are changes :) . She wants to be a doctor :) I guess she will be singing to her patients :)
She's really really good, but she needs to be more expressive with her face! She needs to lift her eyebrows and widen her eyes, and she needs to express all the emotions and thoughts that Elphaba would be thinking and feeling. But GREAT job!

As I was there for the entire 10 weeks of training and practice for the June 20 LIVE musical show, I saw how wonderfully the children improved and became brave performers and actors.
Nikki so nice to se that you are sharing your talent and your gifts at your new school. We miss you at OLQM ! You came a long way since you sang the National ANthem in 2nd grade . I love how your voice is maturing and improving ! To the producer of this video KUDOS!! WHat a fantastic quality and power of editing !

Txs smilegrrrrl! Yours is what I call an objective comment, she is 10 years old :) she does not command full management of her voice. As per the wig "guilty as charged"!That would be me. She needed to look ugly :) and green :) did I say ugly :) .As per the lyrics: they were given by their Music teacher-again this was a 10 wks couple of hours after school on Fridays rehearsal for a ensemble of 40 or more kids :) . I believe that they all deserve a brake and some leeway don't you?

She is one year older than me and I understand she is good as this is a very hard song to sing but my teacher privately trains me to sing this song.

I can see her improving as she gets older, this is also a very hard song to sing!
