I've never got why Scots nowadays seem to view the word "British" as an insult considering without Scotland, the British Empire would have died at Dover. Scots built the empire and now wash their hands of it and say it was an English idea.

Living in Scotland, everyone I know who saw this advert has no problems with it. We take it as a joke The radio adverts were along the same lines of this as well. @Lizzilolaphobia, yeah, when I first saw this advert, I thought: "Oh dear, the PC brigade will complain at this one." and I sort of see what you mean by the fact that it makes it seem less bad by making it into a cartoon (like Sin City) but on the other hand, this is a hilarious advert and worse things happen in cartoons on TV, so I think you should stop complaining. People can't have a joke, these days, without the PC brigade complaining.

I used to like iron bru but not after this advert. Disgusted with this advert . This is fucking disgraceful...........whoever proposed the idea for this advert should be obliterated from the earth. I have never seen something so disturbing and would love to destroy the creator of it. I feel so pissed off seeing this. I can make a joke about Jade Goody or the war or peopel starving or whatever and i'm looked upon like i'm disgusting.........but when it's another creature it's perfectly fine. I hate Humans. I'm vegetarian, and laugh everytime I see this. In what way is it bad for children? Would you prefer it if the animals were shown being slaughtered? Or if the animals weren't cartoons, but real, and were "tricked" into a barn with a blood soaked floor and meat cleavers hanging from the roof?
