to the guy talking...yea its cool cause he's ok... reminds me of my first crash doing a wheelie. sliding the rolling then right to my feet walking toward the bike hoping it was ok lol......also for the trash talkers for people who crash... stunts kill bikes, try them and you will go down some time. face it, it's just a part of the game
haha ya ... i hate that feeling your ass hurtsyour ego hurts and and on top of all that you have to sell out the cash to get another bike that you can do the same things on sigh lifes tuff
i did that on an old kz 1000 and didnt realize till i went to throw horseshoes a half hour later that my leg was cracked (fibula) along side of my calf muscle .... it happens when you tumble.. no cast or doctor it healed itself in 6 weeks
I'm not the guy in the video, it's a friend of mine. Years ago we watched the footage on a TV set and it was easier to see on that (vs this small vid on Youtube) that his foot slipped off.
Atleast he was wise enough to use gear. He would of been in hospital 4 a LONG time with a Tshirt. The crash was cool, but he clearly pushed it too far too soon...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like he got scared when he felt BP, tried to sit down and then it was curtains from there. Letting off the gas alone would have brought him back down ;)
I love riding the twisties and getting on the throttle. At the same time I know my limitations and risks. I see a nice bike like that flip over and crunch. Why? A great sport/hobby and gone in a second. It doesn't help our image. That is why I always say 'isolated' road for stunting.
ya for full coverage.. and shit man my record blows ass speeding tickets, accidents.. restricted license.. and my isnurance for an 08 cbr600rr libality is like 30bucks a month,..full coverage is like 400 lol.. thats why you take baby steps... but shit will happen eventually... i think his foot slipped off... but damn... dress for the crash not the weather
He still blew the ass off his jeans though... I hope I don't sound like too much of a prick when I say; He's lucky to at least get to walk a way from a pretty brutal crash with a little more than a huge wedgie, and a few millimeters shaved off his ass.

Looks like the foot slipped causing his weight to go farther back, making the bike lean past balance point. At which point he went down..

I'm glad he had his helmet on and jacket. i've seen many with no helmet hit the pavement and it's not pretty!

and this is the reason why you always cover the rear brake. it's good to see that he walks away from it. live free, ride hard, better luck next time.

Well at least he wasn't in a tank top without a helmet doing that stuff. He should have picked an isolated road.

Yeah it's this kind of stuff that explains why bike insurance for a 19 year old in Houston is in excess of $4000 a year in some cases.
