@ZombieFornever ...I didn't use any actual "zombies" here. They're just random pedestrians that I spawned with the simple native trainer mod. Some of them do look kinda weird , they're multiplayer characters which have a lot of randomized tattoos / scars / etc. Same characters are available in the episodes.

If you've got the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV and wanna play as zombies / fight zombies, then I've got a mod in the works called Zombocalypse. Check out my channel for more info.

@22cevans There's no real mods used here apart from a trainer to spawn stuff. No big deal. I don't know about changing the console versions, though I've heard it might be possible to alter the Xbox version since it's on a DVD. Have a snoop around some places like GTA Forums and you might find out more.

If you're on about how I filmed this, then it's the PC video editor for the PC version which is only available in GTA IV for PC.

All of my zombie apocalypse and Liberty City Survivor videos were filmed offline by myself using spawned pedestrians and bodyguards. Makes things take longer and the whole process more difficult, but yields more impressive results.

I've already done a second video since this one came out. The third one will be released sometime in the next couple of weeks. At least that's the target. I don't wanna drag it out into the next year. I've shot roughly two thirds of what's needed so far and will hopefully finish filming by the mid-week and be onto sound editing.

It proved too difficult to actually film a biting moment, but you can clearly see she gets mauled pretty badly, what with her being covered in blood afterward. Oh, and the scary snarl.

I'm working on zombification of the gta pedestrians at the moment, my next vid will have custom textures and animations for the zombies. You can judge how authentic they look fairly soon :)

@Jshaw71 Thanks for watching! I've started work on another chapter with the same characters. I've been avoiding dialogue since I don't have proper voice actors, which does limit the storytelling, but the next film will have dialogue in for sure. There'll be a tour of the ravaged streets, probablys the only "small break" from the action before the epic finale.

@TheSourceProductions ..what? you mean the shot of the car? It's just me rotating the view around it in-game. Every other camera angle was set up in the GTA 4 video editor. Press F2 to record the last few seconds and flip through the phone options to open the editor.

If you didn't mean that, I have no idea what you're on about since no-one's using a camera to fight zombies here.

Characters spawned and manipulated using Simple Native Trainer for GTA IV PC. Zombies were random peds put on Combat mode, others were bodyguards.

Camera moves and angles done using the in-game video editor

Edited together using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

Colour corrected and stylized using Adobe After Effects CS4

Music and sound effects mixed in Sony Acid Pro 6

Some sound effects sourced from the Free Sound Project

Dialogue taken from Aliens vs Predator 2 and Half Life 2 game files
