It looks like abuse of authority, however without seeing the whole story, hard to say. Compared with some of the other videos I've seen on youtube showing Indian police brutality and abuse, this is not much. I just wonder why this one has 150K views and the other have almost none..... search youtube for india police brutality and you'll see far, far, far worse.

IN the first 3 weeks of this trip, I was involved as a passenger in 4 traffic collisions, 2 of which may have been fatal or serious injury (my driver refused to stop for us to find out) and 1of which saw us hit a cyclist and him smash our windscreen with his head. The only rhythm is the sound of crunching metal, mate!

Hahaha. Rickshaws are banned in Hyderabad (my city). Even auto-rickshaws are banned now from several highways and main streets. If they are caught on road, they are fined heavily or impounded. The days of the 3-wheelers are numbered now. They are making way to the taxi industry.

My only point is that the police officer is NOT doing her duty, she is simply damaging the man's machine RATHER THAN doing her duty. And if that is acceptable then it is no wonder that she can conduct herself in this way without fear of being disciplined. As I have said before, the public gets the police force it deserves.
