I did this build for fun !.....Yes as several of you mentioned it's not needed....But on short landing areas it works rather well ! It's only ment to be deployed when you land.....the plane still handles rather well with it poped-up. A cheap quick build!

@dennis286 it would be kinda useful for 90 degree descents from a few hundred meters altitude.... for that you need some air brake system because easy star can't be controlled anymore at high speeds

What if the air brake opens accidentally? you have to land to close it. You should think a way to close it remotely.
