  • yea I got a 2001 TJ 4" lift with long arms and a 1 inch body lift. I can easily clear 36's. Im currently runnin 35's but there is more than enough room under there.

  • what tires on this jeep?

  • what kind of tires on this jeep

  • Would I be able to move with stock gears? Like just on the streets?

  • @l00kupatdad123 What gears are in there now? 4.56 or 4.88 are best for 36" tires. 3.91, 4.11, or 4.27 would be the highest gear ratio you'd want to go and still put power down. 3.91 is really pushing it. Anything higher (lower numbers) would be too high. I think stock gears in a TJ are 3.55 or maybe a 3.73... too high a ratio for 36" tires.

  • @Offroadersdotcom I just put them on and with the stock gears in truely isn't awful. It does what I need it to do untill I get my dana 44s

  • @l00kupatdad123 ... Cool.

  • @l00kupatdad123 email me through the contact form on offroaders, I'll send you some links. Can't post them here. Youtube won't let me.

  • I also have one more question for you, if you know it. I just recieved a pay check large enough to get me 36" tsl's. Will I have enough room with a 4" suspension lift and flat fenders? Also, I have front and rear D44's with 4.88 gears. Untill I go and pick them up from my cabin, will i be able to even move with 36" tires? Thanks!

  • @l00kupatdad123 According to the chart I have the 97-06 Wrangler TJ needs at least a 6" suspension lift with some minor fender trimming to fit 35" so a 36 is going to be even tighter. I have a friend with 33x12.50x15 Super Swamper SSR's on his TJ that's lifted 4". When he stuffs the wheels, it rubs a little. I'm pretty sure 36's aren't going to fit with only 4". With flat fenders, you might be better but I still think it will be too tight.

  • @Offroadersdotcom you must be crazy and your chart is dead wrong. installing metal cloak fenders or a high-line kit will allow 35" tires to fit on a wrangler with absolutely no lift. both of you should head over to jeepforum. com and read until your eyes bleed.

  • @l00kupatdad123 hey man. i got me just a 4 inch lift and 35s. they fit fine......

  • what size/brand are the tires/wheels? Thank you!

  • @Dodgeoffroadfreak Tire=35x13.50 Toyo MT's and the wheels are 15x10 soft 8's

  • @l00kupatdad123 lol no way

  • sick wheeling, I love how the plastic side steps are still on there

  • @blzplz1 haha still got mine to!

  • What size lift is this and what size tires.

  • NICE...

  • Is that a WJ converted D30? If so how do you like it?
