  • esperandolos en lima para stonear lima este 18 de nov. graciasssssssssss vedder

  • 0:41 is that the girl from the movie "the animal"???

  • this sounds better than the studio version...thumbs up!!!

  • i love the strongest of his voice and the feeling through his eyes, he doesn't sing just because, he sing with the soul and project it through his music.......

how many times we try to think what the song says---i can't find a better man---just trying to justify why we are still with that fucking man......who is not the better man

  • long live pearl jam

  • 1992 was the best

  • this is a good version, however the best performance of this song was on mexico city, eddie couldn t ever hear himself, the crowd was really into it

  • What kind of guitar is ed using ?

  • I love these guys... the band Pearl Jam and Dog Savanna are the bands that I like to hear! Viva Rock!

  • best ever is 08 bonnaroo

  • 2000 mate ;)

  • ya i know i jst said it because somebody else mentioned pink pop 92

  • pink pop in 1992 was one of the most amazing shows ive seen. whoaaaa that was frikin amazing!!!!!!!

  • although I don't agree with kurt kobain's assinine comment about eddie veder and pearl jam saying that they were part of the mainstream grunge scene....I can apprecieate that nirvana made good music and pearl jam also made good music....

  • It was the best performance... until they played the O2...

Now THAT was the best ever.

  • Beautiful sounds...one of the best

  • This is the performance from The Live on Two Legs album. I have the whole thing on my ipod and this particular pink pop performance is different from that one and I've seen the Pink Pop one.

  • Any1 who thinks it is a studio version, is a) a moron, and b) isnt a real pearl jam fan.

The video quality is just shit and thus has a massive delay. Fuckin morons like venguitar

  • chill out dude..

  • definitely not studio...the lyrics are different "waitin, watchin the clock" is watchin...watchin the clock" i think eddie fucked up n just went with it cuz he's the shit.

  • appearently you can hear the audience in the background so it can't be the studio version

  • Comment removed

  • no, this AIN'T the studio version... it's just that audio and video don't correspond exactly.

  • Comment removed

  • to venguitarplayer, have you heard the studio version? 'nuff said.

  • i love this song so much

  • i don't think you can pin down quote unquote "grunge" to a single person or band really. nor should it be used as a label.

alot was going on in the early 80's bands like love battery, the melvins, seaweed, the u-men, sonic youth, it was more a lifestyle than a scene, people didnt have the money to look fancy. it was just like punk before it, started out of boredom and agression and love for music.

than slowly pushed to the forefront when people realised how good that music actually was.

  • little bit out of sync

  • chile2005...best performance ever...take a look

  • Love this performance...so fuckin hot that Eddie-he's got the voice, he's got the look, he's got the way so who cares what you classify their music as??? Check out how he gets into his singing with his whole body & rolls his eyes, it makes me quivery :P

  • you're all sheep!

  • 1998 i believe. thanks for posting this.

  • 2000!! Read!

  • Yea 2000.

  • This is 2000.

  • The audio and video are really badly out of sync, but it's a great version.

  • PRO-GRUNGE!!

  • CRAP-GRUNGE!!

  • he wrote this song when he was liek 19 or something

  • I Love this song

    its so beautiful

Eddie Vedder has the best voice - its so beautiful and soothing - he is amazing live

i think with Matt Cameron as the drummer they kick ass - hes my favorite drummer of them all

    Pearl Jam Rules!!!

  • i know what you mean eddie, however i don't think they care to look......

  • love it.. love it.. love it =)! best song EVER!

  • they formed before 92.....i mean, 'Ten' was releaswed in 91

  • 2:13 - he is so0oo0 BEAUTIFUL - cute adorable sexy talent - wow i love him so0o0 much

    Eddie Vedder is god

    this song rocks

    Pearl Jam rules

  • Eddie is a hot one, ain't he?? ;-) I also feel the same way about Mike McCready even more so- especially when he's playing, and he tilts his head back. Something about that is actually erotic to me, I love to watch him burn his guitar up, man... :-P

  • they formed in 1990 but were called mookie baylock

  • purely lovely

  • Why does he start.....Watching...watching the clock? Odd.

  • becaues he can do what ever he wants and it still rocks?:D

  • 2 words... simply excellent.

  • I like it how Eddie pays tribute to Pete Townshend at about 2:50.

  • fucking brilliant

  • Isn't it 1992?

  • No Man They Didnt Form Till 92 And Judgeing By Thier Hair I say Ith 99 2000

  • you know fuck all about pearl jam don't you? they formed in 1990

  • No That Was Temple Of The Dog

  • Pearl Jam aquired Vedder only months before Temple Of The Dog... Both happened in 1990. And both and all pop-grunge have nothing on Nirvana...

  • Alright first pearl jam happened after temple of the dog thats how they knew eddie you see eddie said it himself he herd the instrumentle to alive in a gas staition and wrote the lyrics surfing now nirvana was one of the biggest grunge bands hell eddie vedder and kurt cobain danced so nirvana originated grunge pearl jam pioneered it

  • No, PJ was first. Go read Vedder's wiki bio..

Nirvana had been around since 87, and been around longer under different names.

  • dude PJ was after go to vedder and ask

Nirvana has been around longer Nirvan made what grunge is but Pearl Jam when kurt died they carried on the legacy

  • Obviously, you haven't read Vedder's bio..

And second, PJ DID NOT start grunge. PJ is pop. Tell me how Bleach, which was released in 89, isn't grunge? Or how about Soundgarden before 91, or AIC??

  • NIRVANA STARTED GRUNGE PJ pioneered it in otherwords after nirvana PJ kept grunge alive from extincsion soundgarden well theyre alternative but you can consider them grunge but PJ was one of the big grunge bands and after nirvana they had the weight of a genere of music on thier shoulders and they kept it alive

  • Pioneering something and starting are the same thing... Again, PJ didn't keep it alive. In Utero dropped about the same time as VS. AFter Kurt died PJ released Vitalogy which was a flop compared to the 2 early albums. Soundgarden carried the torch till 97. And so did ALice in Chains till 96.

  • did ricky charmicheal start motocross no but he pioneered it in other words he carried the torch, alice in chains is more metal until they did unplugged wich was more grunge, soundgarden was also like grunge metal but still grunge so yea they did, but PJ is regardly the 2nd most influential grunge band and they faught and kepted a good fan base and they have gotten better with wws and the self title so they're still in there keeping grunge alive today

  • Arguing over who "started" grunge? You both lose.

  • Who started grunge?

  • grunge isn't anything but a label. who pioneered the seattle movement? lots of bands. who brought it to the worlds attention? nirvana, and shortly after pearl jam, and then the rest.

  • guys like soundgraden and sonic youth I think started grunge but nirvana really made it a worldwide thing.

  • Agree

  • Dont forget Green River!!!

  • The rough, step below heavy metal power riffs, slowed muffled punk is Grunge. It means dirty crud. It was born formally June 15, '89 @ Reciprocal, Seattle. The sound was created by the Melvins - they slowed down when all else was speeding up. Kurt lived with Matt Lukin in the Pink building across the lane from the studio Melvins jammed in. Everyone knows the grunge look but few attest the sound was single handedly accredited to an alternative inspired social drop out kid with talent who dared.

  • Alrightn there is an awnser

  • i LOVE this song!! i agree with Secram008!lol

  • fuck yeah. vedder is god.

  • wicked

  • it was all removed by viacom and this one will be removed soon to

BEST CONCERT EVER DAM YOU VIACOM

  • why is viacom removing it? i noticed viacom was removing stephen colbert stuff also.

  • Okay, what happened to all the pinkpop 2000 stuff?
