Unlock & Jailbreak iPhone 2.2.1 Using Mac (QuickPwn)

Re-plug in ur device with itunes n it will detect ur iphone in recovery mode..

If u r using the supported carrier for your iphone ur doing fine but if u r not..youre dead coz u upgrade using itunes.. I recommend u to use pwnage tool 2.2.5.. If the same problem occurs then u shud fix ur mac coz it wont recognize dfu mode..

i guess that is what was wrong or i dont know i when to a guy that has a windows '''.... computer and he was able to unlock my iphone in no time ,although i had to pay him $15 but it was better for me than spending hour over hour trying to unlock

i was trying to do it first i upgrade from 2.0.1 to 2.2.1 so it is lock and not jailbreak so i opened quickpwn and it was doint the same thing than your but then whan it open itunes i closed it but it just say quickpwn is about to run in your iphone ,but the bar still in blank efter a while ,and i saw that your did it right away

2g but i restore it or upgrade it with the firmware from apple ,so now is asking for a at&t sim card which is the one that can activate it,so basically is running firmware 2.2.1 from apple not the custum one . and is not activate it ,it just allow emergency call

i did and created the firmware the it send me to itunes to restore it with its firmware ,like im using a mac i pressed option the restore ,selected the firmware from pwnage tool but itunes says there was an error 21 or 20 or 9

I think wut your prob is, your mac does not detect dfu mode.. U shud fix this 1st ok.. Go to dev team blog to learn aight...

Thanks man.. U did jailbreak it but you did not unlock it.. U need to go back to pwnage tool n make sure you CHECK the 'activate the phone' in the general.. R using 2g iphone or 3g? This video mainly for 2g only..

Which iphone do u use? 2g or 3g? any jailbreaking process will deleted all your jailbreak software or data but not from the apps store, by the way u shud have all your apps inside your itunes right? hmmm....
