Hilarious!!! Good luck guys. It is a great sport . You will have lots of good and bad times if you stick at it but long after you have retired from competition you will never forget the fact that you went out there and actually did it rather than just being an armchair racer. I am 61 and have not rallied for 30 years and I STILL remember my successes and failures and I often relive those "big moments". I have been involved in many forms of motorsport and nothing comes close to rallying....

@ codriver, every instruction turns will be in the tulip roadbook with cumlitive distances. Write that distance in small writing above the relevant pace note. So if you get lost you can pick it up again by waiting for the distance to come up on your terratrip and pickup reading the notes again from that point. If you guess where you are up to in the notes you will get into even more trouble. Best of luck.

Was going pretty decent actually right up until the not goodness happened. To do this type of thing the driver and co-pilot have to have complete confidence in one another and each has to focus on just their own task. I can see how co-piloting would be hard; trying to keep the info straight while bouncing around all over the place, but it's a crucial role. I couldn't do it personally, I'd be paying too much attention to the driving and it'd go way worse, like off a cliff worse.

Well the havie was either late on the notes or lost, and the fact that the driver kept pushing without notes was worse than the dust. He had a warning earlier on that L2 but he kept in it.

Hope the car didnt get too bad and you can get back on stage soon.
