  • "your duty is to fuck"

  • Was this rotoscoped?! It was so realistic!

  • @pwnsomenoob yupp it was

  • and that was the greatest 44 seconds of animation in history ladies & gentlemen

  • That's a really good question. When I saw Polar Express they certainly did have a living dead look to them. That has improved with Beowulf (great film),also Xmas Carol.I see CGI and motion capture as a necessary evil.I've been a long time fan of comics and of course all things fantasy. That technology has allowed it to be possible.I admire guys like Peter Jackson and Guillemo Del Toro. They come from the old skool ways. But they know that the modern methods enhance the physical elements.

  • @madloz76

What did you think of what they did in Avatar or TinTin?

  • Technically Avatar is of course amazing.

Haven't seen Tin Tin yet. It came out on Boxing Day in Australia. Can't wait to see it.

  • Out of all of the titles you mentioned.I've only seen Heavy Metal and Princess Mononoke.Mononoke is a personal favourite.I've seen a majority of the Ghibli films.I intend to see them all. Some of the titles you mentioned ring a bell.I do live in Australia and even though it's improved as to what's available. There's still a void.Thankfully there's file sharing, Youtube and good old Amazon. Also the specialty shop that's over priced.

  • @madloz76

And do you think this rotoscoping is better than what Zemeckis used in Polar Express without going into uncanny valley? you glad there's no dead eyes here?

  • so fuckin brutal! it is so realistic! :D such a pity that they don't make movies like these anymore :(

  • i got a boner xD

  • Hey don't be hating on skinny girls too much. I am just skinny naturally but I'd kill to have hips like this woman's... not all of us are blessed you know

  • Hmmm, first I have seen of some of these animated movies (not cartoons) I have to dust the cobwebs off my eyes.

  • I got a cartoon "Woody" watching that.

  • @madloz76

Does this rotoscoping remind you of how similar it is used in Avatar? i mean similar kind of rotoscoping techniques.

  • It does when you think about it. Motion capture is a modern form of rotoscoping, it makes sense. I believe rotoscoping was used in the He-man series from the 80's. One thing I'm not sure of is if Fire and Ice came first and He-man came later.

I know that both are heavily inspired by Frank Frazetta's work. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Frank worked on Fire and Ice.

Also Teegra, Teela obvious similiarites. Fire and Ice is adult fantasy the other not.

  • @madloz76

The early 80s had such cool fantasy animated epics like this, The Secret of NIMH, The Last Unicorn, Flight of Dragons, Heavy Metal, The Black Cauldron, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (aka Warriors of the Wind) etc. If you enjoyed this one, i recommend Princess Mononoke which is another good adult animated fantasy epic, seen that one?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Mononoke is very good, and anything else made by Miyazaki is worth seeing.

  • @ORCA4312

Do you agree too that the rotoscoping here is similar to Robert Zemeckis's Mocap animation movies and Avatar?

  • they're making a live action version of this! I can't wait!

  • So, we have a beautiful animated princess who, despite being royalty and having everything she could ever possibly want, is unsatisfied with her life and wishes for something more......

Anyone else getting a sense of deja vu here?

  • Very sexy toon! she's up in my books with Taarna from Heavy Metal, Cheetara from Thundercats, Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn, Adora from She-Ra, Teela from He-Man, Sailor Mars, Jasmine, Minerva Mink and Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo on my top animated babes list.

  • fap :)

  • .....Damn!.....

  • Now THATS what I call hips. Thats how a beautiful womans body should be. Forget all this ugly supermodel, super thin bullshit. If I want a bag of bones I'll get some from the butchers.

  • @Lostfaith1980 Agreed 1000000%

  • Kim Kardashian

  • @TRKoneAD2= Kim Kardashian is a harpy compared to Princess Teegra. I know one woman who would have made a beautiful live action Princess teegra. The only problem is, she's too old now.

  • @vigo894 Who?

  • Ass for days, I love it! It would be hard to find a white girl with an ass big ennough to play Teegra, especially in hollywood. Just bought the movie. Great action. Larn is the leading man but Dark Wolf is the leading ass kicker. I wish Frazzetta could do another project like this.

  • Best and worst part of the film was her character. Sadly she has no naked scenes. On a side note my ex have bigger features than she does and wow....physically speaking she was heavenly to touch and cuddle with. =)

  • i used to watch this as a kid..

  • I'm likin' all these suggestive shots they put the princess in. Gee think that was...heh heh..intended. X-3

  • I feel like there should be a fuck of a lot more movies like this with gratuitous almost-pornographic images that have an awesome plot too. I would go to movies way more often if this was the case. I hate prudes.

  • Why is Teegra's duty to learn? Towards what purpose?

  • Megan Fox is too skinny...

  • point taken...

  • I meant that Frazetta's girls use to have sensual curves like a renaissance Venus... I dont have anything against Megan Fox but girls of Frazetta are more beautiful... :D

  • Oh no i understand, but with Teegra having dark hair and green eyes Megan Fox was the first person I thought of. But, you're right, she is too skinny

  • Well, of course she's too skinny! No real-life human can match up to those proportions!

  • @hypnodance I can ;) lol. I kid, I kid.

  • It should someone who looks like Rose McGowan or Monica Bellucci instead.

They also have that sensual appeal that with Megan Fox is completely forced.

  • @lechuk u mean 2 skanky

  • I bet her father considered giving her a male tutor would result in some wicked no-no play, IMAO!

  • Great movie and great animation.

    Oh yeah and... BONER!

  • @dktannerdk

She up there with Taarna and Cheetara from Thundercats eh?

  • damm

  • hmmmm >:3

  • Comment removed

  • Y quien fuera puma

  • sometimes i'd wish i was cartoon.... if i was, then I'll definetly had hitted on her :P

  • bang bigga bang bang bang

  • Teegra is curvaciously hot!!!. If she was an actress now, they would call her fat.

When she moves, i cant stop looking at that body.....lol

  • Obviously this was animated over real life actresses. I hope part of that is in the special features.

  • Are you sure Frazetta used an actress to make the animation?

  • Reply for Lechuk:

Yes they did use actresses in the studio to make the animation. They had thousands of girls come in, and they had to pick the perfect one. The action movements (fighting primarily), were first recorded using actors, then Frazetta drew it.

Amazing movie, extremely well drawn and Frazetta is a monster talent and a natural... (Im also extremely jealous..)

  • Interesting.

    I found info about it.

    Thanks

  • Interesting

  • if they ever did this in live action Catherine Zeta Jones would be the only actress to consider, in my opinion.

  • I like her WAY more than the boob lady from Heavy Metal.

  • Bakshi, master of rotoscoping. But the girl looks nice :D

  • Tygra es igualita a Catherine Zeta Jones.

  • This's a clip from Fire & Ice, a great piece of oldschool animation. Checkit.

  • she is FIT!!!!!!!

  • As most Frazetta women were! Love'em!!

  • no, no, the rotoscoping is what makes it great. drawings with natural movement. thats part of what makes it great. as a bonus, its been reported that the artist himself, frank frazetta (a great athlete) modeled many of the movements himself when when the male actors couldnt quite get it ( see dark wolf ).

  • nice animation ,ouaa nice curves!

  • Where can I watch the whole thing? I'm curious of what this is.

  • Those nerdy comic artist are crazy! fucking cool, they made her some nice hips, white skin, and a terrible nice ass! WPWW.

  • i would like to be a cartoon so i could fuck her

  • me too!!! ha ha!!!

  • This never got the attention it deserved... at least not that I ever noticed. I'd love to see how this was made. It's almost like they traced the whole thing from live footage. :( You'd think they'd have better funding and technology to make better animations than they do today. Ironic. Things got crappier as time went by. And nowadays when something has to make a 180-360° turn, computers do all the work making it way to perfect and smooth.

  • The DVD has a documentary on how it was made. It was a process called rotoscoping, which just as you guessed, animation over live footage.

And, no, the actress playing Teegra didn't have her, uh, 'endowments'.

  • @Xsuprio actually, they did trace it. its a process called rotoscoping, an animation technique that Ralph Bakshi (who was a a key figure in the creation of this film) is considered to be the master of. live actors provided footage, and they were drawn over completely to create unique characters, its a fascinating process really

  • @Xsuprio yeah like that dude said, it was rotoscoped. which was kinda weak cus supposedly the dudes were dressed up in costumes as well. but as for funding the dude was a underground animator, working in a basement was how he did his thing. theres real good animations out there today with styles never been seen before, check out tekkonkinkreet for good animation, and metropia for wild computer animation thats never been done before, shits out there just hard to find

  • hahaha, really good to see. Sadly, cell-animated cartoon are long gone, and CG graphics are way too cold on me these days...

  • And not even sexy. Damn political correctness and moralist attitudes!!!

  • Plus they show Mongoloid looking/not European at all invasors, and White Europeans resisting them! Awesome huh? where can I get this movie?

  • Are you fucking retarded?

  • Fucking retarded. Heh. No, Murphy but I think you are. You and all your fag yacht club rugby butt-humpers.

Why post here? Shouldn't you be in the gym dissolving your junk with steroid injections?

  • You can get it if you're willing to pay the money. Is it just me or are other people tired of good movies costing too much to purchase? I mean in my opinion that sounds an awful lot like Nazis looting Paris for paintings during WW2. Where's the integration if the consumers cannot afford what the producers hope to make a buck from? Someone is playing monkey in the middle emo shenanigans and that's what leads corporations like Time-Warner to drop AOL. People who donno what I mean NEED 2 WATCH TV!

  • @Minroud

Not all is long gone, i mean we still have some handdrawn animation thanks to Princess and The Frog and Studio Ghibli movies from Hayao Miyazaki being successful. We even have Clay Animation and Stop Motion animation.

  • Jesus Christ!!!! What a dish!!!! Why the fuck can't animated movies like that, instead of safe, Disney shit!!!

  • Is what I'm sayin'! When I was a kid in elementary school they had ALL this kinda crap! Then all of a sudden the cold war ended and it became a virtual Leave It To Beaver all the fuck over again!

  • It's more of a combo of political correctness and moralistic values. In other words, this country has become chicken shit.

  • Excuse but what does the end of the Cold War have to do with this movie?

  • It means that all the puritans' buddies from overseas have come over in the veil of being pro-american to try and take us over from the inside. We've become a chickenshit nation because all the people who are supposed to represent as parents today lost face to youngsters the age of Anakin Skywalker in Episode I. You've seen Home Alone. Mac and Bart Simpson also had cameo appearances in Michael Jackson's Black and White video. Russia is more than Blue Boheme or Red Bolshevik. B+W = Cossack. Tyvm!

  • What the fuck are you on about?

  • A kind of magic.

  • @MadScout

Well they do with Bakshi and of course Japanese animation especially hentai, do you know what hentai is?

  • Teegra was really cool to watch, I really think that the drawers took a real pleasure to make this movie ( I guess ) .
