He did have something to do with the Spaghetti Incident, but as far as his involvement with the Illusions albums are concerned he only learned to play them for the tour. So there for he had nothing to do with the writing process of these songs. He even says it on Behind the Music. He says quote "Learn the songs, play the songs, here's your paycheck"

I agree Slash rules and the old line up was way better then the band but i think Axl's still got it if you hear when they play November Rain outro on part 3 theirs proofs his screams and growls are IMMENSE!

Thanks ! I agree with ya that Axl is over 100% changed. He just doesn't look all stressed like back before. As far as being the most dangerous band in the world, I feel Axl wanted to get away from being labled that for the band. It took alot of guts for Axl to come back knowing the challenges he was going to have to face.
If anyone has ever noticed that when "Patience" is being played, when the song is at a little break, take a look that three guitar players are standing right behind Axl and he does not have to nod his head or anything for the song to pick back up. The band knows when. how and what they are doing.
I didn't say Axl decides everything, they all know their parts who starts what and when and Dizzy is keyboard and sometimes leads also. On the little break of the song Patience,I believe it's Bummlefoot starts the song back up. I just thought it was neat to see three guitar players standing there behind Axl and Bummblefoot to his right.
axl sold out 3 times where im from nova scotia! appetite for destruction doesn't do him justice in halifax it was a flawless performance through out the whole concert he's amazing! the best night of my life!
I love how Axl messes with the crowd at the beginning of Patience. It caught me off guard on that one.

Guns N' Roses is not a solo project. Just because er don't see pictures in the paper or in magazines of the members hanging out and partying does not mean it is a solo project. On all accounts, the members are quite close, and even if you think that Axl is not as close as the others, he is truly the closest to any of the other members. He appreciates the help to keep the legacy that IS, NOT WAS, Guns N' Roses going. Why some people, such as yourself, can not realize this is beyond me.

I agree that the other guitarists play well.
But it is Slash's.
People who say that DJ Ashba and Bumblefoot are better are not making any sense.
I recognise that their individual solos are good, but every other guitar part was written by Duff, Slash, Izzy and Gilby.

Thanks ! I agree with ya that Axl is over 100% changed. He just doesn't look all stressed like back before. As far as being the most dangerous band in the world, I feel Axl wanted to get away from being labled that for the band. It took alot of guts for Axl to come back knowing the challenges he was going to have to face.

that they will remove a new disc from the songs that could not include Axl in chinese and
soon they will make tour world-wide,
meanwhile, I will remain with the wonderful memory of when

If anyone has ever noticed that when "Patience" is being played, when the song is at a little break, take a look that three guitar players are standing right behind Axl and he does not have to nod his head or anything for the song to pick back up. The band knows when. how and what they are doing.

I didn't say Axl decides everything, they all know their parts who starts what and when and Dizzy is keyboard and sometimes leads also. On the little break of the song Patience,I believe it's Bummlefoot starts the song back up. I just thought it was neat to see three guitar players standing there behind Axl and Bummblefoot to his right.

I love how Axl messes with the crowd at the beginning of Patience. It caught me off guard on that one.
Anyone who has negetive comments go under Slash's wife and she is not negetive about Axl at all. In fact I was amazed with her positive attitude towards Axl being she's married to Slash.
I pray that Axl and the band come to Ohio or Michigan again. It's closer to where my friends are and we plan on going.Tickets sell out within two hours.

saw orig.gnr in '89...afterwards in '92 & in '93...
if there is any comment on nowadays gnr it's that axl found some great musicians to realize the visions he had for his music...it was one hell of a show,no doubt...but to me guns n roses will always be the 'destruction' line-up !
anyway this is great shit to have a cold & enjoy some great rock&roll-tunes...peace

It is a Soloproject! Axl is not just another bandmember, he IS the band!
There is no democracy in that band...
The credits for the new songs also say that AXL wrote almost all songs!
How can you call that contribution of the other members!?

Guns N' Roses is not a solo project. Just because er don't see pictures in the paper or in magazines of the members hanging out and partying does not mean it is a solo project. On all accounts, the members are quite close, and even if you think that Axl is not as close as the others, he is truly the closest to any of the other members. He appreciates the help to keep the legacy that IS, NOT WAS, Guns N' Roses going. Why some people, such as yourself, can not realize this is beyond me.
