  • I am a high school French horn player and that's ok

  • :) im around my 14th month too i just learned this not too hard but not too easy.... i also made first band first chair at the jr high all region(: good job btw

  • Not bad for just over a year. Maybe you should start incorporating the Bb fingerings now, since you're using a double horn. Here to help if you have questions on what might help you! I love to teach!!!

  • You need AIR THROUGH YOUR HORN

Also, some of the articulations need to be more crisp, not hoohoo.

Unless you're going for a smoother sound. Then more air. looots.

I've been playing for going on 50 mos. I've been playing well for about 13.

  • @TheRadioactiveBanana No, it's a yamaha 567

  • sheet music or notes pleaz?

  • Macy64CP : why do you hate the French horn .? It's one if the most beautiful and definantly the most challenging. But I guess everyone has opinions. I have played French horn for one year and then this year (my second) I'm in symphonic band. (:

  • This is great for 14 months only, i dont think i was this good a month 14, im on year 6 and the french horn is the best move of my life, so i hope u keep playing.. Also do u do any interval training?

  • no offence i hate french horns!

  • @Macy64CP well somebody needs to take music appreciation

  • @Macy64CP lol thats funny, cuz most people just hate the french horn players XD.

  • wow, great progress!ive been playing horn for about two and a half years, but keep up the good work :D

  • congrats. I saw your 6 week video, checked your channel, and their's definitely improvement ;) I'm currently on my... 66th or so month of playing, so... lol. Just make sure that when you play higher, keep the aperature loose, corners tight, and blow air through the horn. It seems like clenching would help, but it just stops the air from coming out. Have fun with your horn, and I look for to hearing more. Subbed

  • lol good work!imma just starting to play the french horn!:3

  • That was nice; keep it up!

  • love it completely but it seems as if you broke a phrase at the end
