I took up skydiving in 1969. Man, people thought we were the sh!t, and we did think we were pretty cool. It was fun and the gear was heavy and you could really land hard, even under a PC. and it all looks laughable now compared to these guys.

damn i talked some shit to you with "mainly legal".

of course the tokyo and the NYC jump were illegal (which make them so total urban insane). the german one i dont know but the VDO (german agreed for object-jumper) is going to make it legal. and for the angel jump: you can jump legal with a special license in that area. but jeb jumped the first time without.

u see the very impressiv locations like lauterbrunnen are legal and all time jumpable.

The crash Helmet is to help stop Head injuries when making a rough landing on the ground. Obviously if the chute collapsed at high altitude then the helmet wont make a difference but why suffer head injuries during rough landings, so yes it makes a differnce.
