this song is so overlooked and so is Nas smh he is speaking the real truth "american black's are the teenagers of this world give us 20 more years to grow up"
i agree with the last comment. the album is a classic. this song was so deep, not only for hip hop fans but everybody. i like the part where he talks about seeing ufo's with his own 2 eyes because i have aswell
I whole-heartidly agree, PrinceMarkus88. This album is very underrated. Entertainment Weekly gave this a B+. I think it's a solid A. It is one of the greatest travesties in music history that Lil Wayne's The Carter III beat this out for Rap Album of the Year at the Grammy's. Pathetic.
I never doubted what you express in this song my brother I just wish we all can come together and fight this. Thank you for being strong and not being afraid to speak the dark truth. Alex Riley. I'm ready to die for something greater than myself.

Murked that Ivan Van Sertima line, I had to go and google dude, learned a lot by watching some of his videotaped conferences. Ups to Nas.

Nas is the greatest ever, uncontested. hes lyrically unmatched and he furthers the culture of hip hop and still is releasing music to this day.
