  • The regulator rectifier is a common problem on the 08 model. Loss of power and battery drainage.

  • what are some/list of the problems or issues u've had with the daytona 675? cuz one of the problems ive heard was how easily the hot seat was caused by high temperature and the undertail exhaust.

    wat other problems are there?

  • 3 cylinders buddy

  • Why triumph daytona all sound like that? I mean that so characteristic whistle when you stop accelerating...please I need the answer

  • @andylifeblue its the air intake

  • i was thinking that to i love that sound

  • @andylifeblue vacuum i belive

  • i believe it has something to do with the size of the air intake that creates the wistle

  • @andylifeblue first time its the typical 3 cylinders motor sound, and second the airbox

  • rev it up dude

  • hey im a new rider and looking at buying a daytona 675 however i am 6ft 6 but only 170

how do u think i will fit ?

  • you know what dude... you're fine.

i'm 5'7" and 106. bike was built for someone over 6ft.

  • hey did u custom urself the single tail???

  • tylerhover, go test drive one.

  • Hey guys, I'm about 6'4 and I weigh about 240 pounds....So I'm a big fella! I was wondering if I'm too big for the Daytona 675? I heard that it is a tall bike, so I figured I'd ask about it! Great video! And any help will be highly appreciated!!

  • You might be best with somthin a bit larger like a 1000cc mate

  • The motorcycle CC size shouldn't determine the motorcycle you get. I'm buying a 675 off a friend, who is 6'4, 225 firefighter. He loves the bike dearly, and fit fine on it. If i were you, sit on one, and if needed, loose some weight. It's a great bike! Don't kill yourself by getting a larger CC bike just because your a big fella.

  • You'll be fine. Sport bikes fit most anyone, and I know a few guys at 6'4" that ride them. I'm 6'2" myself and I'm perfectly comfortable.

  • Hey thanks for the reply, however I bought a Kawasaki KLR650 because the seat height is like 36 inches. It's no crotchrocket, but it's fast enough to break every speed limit in Canada, Haha! Besides, Crotchrocket insurance for a 16 year old is just too much...I'll wait a couple years. My bike broke, so I have to rip her apart and fix her. lol, bummer...Anyways, Thanks again!

  • No problem man, ride safe!

  • You too!

  • jeeze, its a shame you didnt let us hear the thing rev a little more, nice bike tho

  • Seeeeeexxxyyy bike <3

  • i have the same setup on my 06, you can buy the one piece tail from Shark Skinz...google it.

Arrow is the way to go.

and if you dont like the way the license plate hanging off your pipe you can buy a kit that puts it right on top of the rear mud flap behind the shock...looks like dynamite and its not so visible to the police =D

  • those kits your talking about.. are they legal? like would i be able to get a warrant with one? thanks.

  • yep, they are legal. they come with a small LED light that mounts right near the bottom of the battery box too. The police might not "love" the location, but it is legal. if you can't find the kit ill send you a link for a website.

  • Great Bike! I have the same and waiting for mine to come back with the Arrow full system.

Question where did you get the cowl replacing the seat...i am looking for one?

    be safe!

  • I got it made locally. I'm putting the bike on the track, this thing is waaaay too nice to be on the track and it is for sale.

  • I just received my bike wiuth the arrow full system. I couldnt keep the front whell down! it is better then I thought. Can they make another cowl? I would be interested in one. What was the cost for it?What are you asking for your bike?

  • @becyk how much u asking for it?

  • i too am looking for one. do you have the rear light and all. If so, where can I get one.....

  • in my opinion we have the best sounding pipe that is made for the 675. it is loud as hell though. i got caught speeding by my dad when ther was a hill a forest and about a mile between us. he counted my gears lol.

  • is got the baffles in? is it streeet legal??

    Nice bike and vid

  • Not much of a baffle in the Arrow Ti system. It is pretty loud, if the neighbors don't like it...they can move!

Too loud to be on the street and sounds too sweet!
