  • Also it isn't rare for guns to have different names. Like that other dude said it was made by Samopal hence the Sa.58. and the year. The Vz might come from the army designation for this weapon like..

    Military / civilian market names:

    (Sako) 7.62 RK95tp / Sako M92

(Valmet) 7.62 RK62 / Valmet m62 (also various other newer models like Valmet m76, m90)

    M16 / Ar-15

  • @Kekkon3n Actually you have it a little wrong: "Samopal" is not a company name, it means "Automatic gun" in Czech (Sometimes abbreviated as "Sa"), "Vz." is an abbreviation of "Vzor", which translates as "Mark" or "Model", so "Samopal Vz.58" means "Automatic gun model 58" (1958 is the year it was accepted into Czechoslovak military service). I hope it is clear now :-D

  • @MrTvolaCZ So "Sa58", "Vz.58", "Sa vz.58" "Samopal vz.58" or "7,62mm samopal vzor 58" all refer to the same gun.

  • @MrTvolaCZ And to make things little more complicated - There is a civilian version of the FN FAL riffle, called DSA Arms SA58, but besides the similar name, these two guns are very different and not related.

  • @MrTvolaCZ Yup, thx for the lesson in czech ,then it's exactly the same as rk62 & rk95tp where the RK = rynnäkkökivääri = assault rifle.

  • @Kekkon3n Sa in Sa 58 means "Samopal" = "Submachine gun" In western terminology, its incorrect but there you have it.

  • What muzzle brake is that? It and the operator worked well.

  • this is not a SA58, this is however a cool concept idea for that rifle, but please change the name.

  • @3mealsaday This gun came first with its name. So where is the problem?

  • @Cougar545x39 No this gun is not called a SA58, I believe the gun that this is a Vz58. The SA58 is a completely different rifle. the Sa58 is the American made version of the FN FAL, which was originally designed back in WWII by the Nazis, in the 7.92x33mm kurz. This rifle however, has nothing to do with the FAL, this is a Vz58, see how the whole bolt is exposed, like the SKS?

  • @3mealsaday Wtf are you talking about ? Isn't FN herstal a belgian company ? I really don't think they'd like to be mistaken for nazis :p

  • @Cougar545x39 Add if you really want to get technical, the FN FAL came first, it was initially started in 1947. The Vz58 was a designed as far back as 1956. It still has 9 years on the Vz58.

  • @3mealsaday ..and you think people like us do not know that? please! :D FN FAL was not called SA58, while the czech Samopal 58 was called like that, got my point? We are talking about which got its name first.

  • Its a bolt release, probably similar to the one made by Neit Arms in Canada.

  • Is a special part i ve seen it in google

  • probably some sort of bolt release mech,.

  • bump

  • Yeah, its interesting - whats the trick?

  • please explain why the bolt close automatically!

  • yeah...whats up with your trick bolt?

  • The stock, foregrip and grip: Are they made by FAB Defence?

  • How did you get your bolt to fall when putting in the new mag?

  • i'd like to know the same thing.

  • Yes. I'd love to know as well.
