It's a shame that this great actor has chosen to do a ridiculous nationalistic advert. It's very Hitleresque in it's tone. I believed and understood Indians and India embraced Ghandi's philosophy which in turn influenced Martin Luther King and America. But it's obvious no nation lacks it's ultras! I really respect Mr. Amitabh Bachchan but this is a shame. Why would you lend yourself to this?

you honestly miss the point of this message completely. it's not nationalistic in the least bit. The point really is that you have to also consider the needs of the poverty-stricken masses (the 'other India') and not just get too carried away by the economic development that is only currently benefitting a select few. Amitabh should not forget that indirectly because of Shahrukh, he started his second career. He tried his hard but just because success of "Mohabbatain", he got another chance to stand in bollywood and then KBC was launched. And at that time, he was the first 'FAMOUS' bollywood hero came on television TO HOST QUIZ SHAOW. And because of the highest price money in quiz show in india, this show got publicity. And because of this publicity & success of Mohabbatain, Amitabh got limelight again. :)

Ooga..What a silly interpretation that one has to be a non-hindu to question some of the hindu beliefs and rituals. Looks like u are not well read. 4 ur info, hinduism has had numberous social reformers (all from upper castes) who abolished child marriages, reintroduced widow remarriage and brought the religion to where it is today.
