@privatetrainer He had his arm over the rope, but I don't think it ever made a difference as to whether he went down or not. He never grabbed it, there was never any real tension on the rope. When he started to go down Fedor just reversed it anyway. Rope had nothing to do with it.

@dss103 Let me start saying that i been on martial arts way before you even knew "MMA", they called them in brazil VALE TUDO or FULL CONTACT, now, im a sambo and sanshou practicioner, both my trainers always recommend me to use punches and low kicks on street, these weapons are the most effective against multiple opponents, i have a decent ground game, but I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT SOMETHING LIKE "JIU JITSU", won't help against shall we say 3 opponents?, so get some boxing lessons BRO...
