It's hard to explain, but all I can say overall is that there is just a different 'feel' to the place. I have since become a scholar of the war and its tragedies. Good video effort, but his delivery would have been slower with some dramatic pause for effect. His voice was high, almost shrill at times. His few appropriate remarks were so brief, we didn't get a good picture of Lincoln giving the address, as photographers were still setting up by the time he finished and sat down. There were four written recordings, all slightly different and Lincoln himself a few changes before formal publication. I understand, he added "under God" at the last moment.
