Hi there, and thankyou! I found out later Manfred was in fact a female mantis! Verry cute, and interesting. I don't have her anymore, she's living in a friends tank now.

oh....what a shame. but i've heard these guys/gals can eat your fish as well as the inverts!!!! Did u get her as a hitch hiker on your LR?

She's doing well , and feeding well, thats the main thing. I actually got her from the guy at my local fish shop! He had been trying to catch it for months. It was living in their main reef display tank. One day when he got to work it had gone over the overflow into the sump. He was happy to get rid of it!!
