Bought the album myself after seeing ' em - in Manchester - supporting either Rainbow or Ian Gillan Band at The Apollo - got no vinyl left now, so am glad to go over it again, here - many thanks, Canalcoholic
I saw them twice circa 1977, once as a headline at the Nite Spot in bedord, then quite soon after as support to Black Sabbath. I met them after the bedofrd show, nice guys, with a killer cover of Dylans "One More Cup of Coffee"
I too saw them support Quo at Glasgow Apollo in the 70's and man, they got the audience worked up good. Went out and bought the album and the next day and still don't know why they never made it big time. I was in Blackpool a few years later and they were actually playing in a pub (jenks i think it was). Was shouting for this song to be played and play it they did and with gusto....awesome. Nice to see you post this.
I used to run a 'rock/bikers' pub in Liverpool in the late 1970's to late 80s and knew Keirth Mulholland fairly well and shared many a pint on Rose Lane. Whilst they never played my pub, they gigged extensively in the 70's and 80s around Liverpool and then went on to support some major acts. There were even rumours that Dave Lloyd (Lioydy) did some vocals on Foreigner tracks that Lou Gramm couldn't reach!! Mylo was a lovely guy and was taken away from us far too young.

Fantastic band. I was listening to them when I was 14 years old and here we are three and a half decades later. The band I was in used to do a cover of "I want, never gets." Everyone thought it was an original because none of them ever heard of Nutz. Thanks for posting this!
I saw then on Hastings Pier in the 70's and then was very pleased that they supported UFO at the roundhouse later on....a brilliant band to see live..bless 'em
i managed to see these guys twice back in 70's once at a Club called THE OUTLOOK in Doncaster and The PRIORY in Scunthorpe...the same night i saw them in Scunny i'd bought their second album n managed to get it autographed by three of the guys and av still got the album..we also shared apint at the bar together....Still play their music today n still sounds fresh....ow i miss those gigs
Nutz was my first ever live show when I saw them support The Heavy Metal Kids at Guildford Civic Hall in 2-11-1975. Absolutely blow me away but had already bought the first single when I heard it on Rosko's round table. Fantastic live band with a great singer and an amazing drummer. John Mylett was a power house behind the kit, one of the best most underrated drummers ever. I was very saddened to learn he died in a car accident back in the 80's. A great talent sadly missed. Also saw Rage live.
Does any one have anything from Nutz 11 ( Nuttz 2) Don't have my album anymore, but remember some great songs on there. 7os were great for music and concerts, I only wish I could remember more. Lots of excess and no moderation. Oh well, I had a blast.
I saw them in Galway and in Macroom in the mountain dew festival supporting Rory Gallagher I really liked them. They did a brilliant version of Dylan's one more cup of coffee

I used to think this band was amazing too & very underrated. I too do not understand why they never 'made it bigger'.

I was married to Keith Mulholland (Bass) in the late70's. I still can't believe they didn't make it. Screw the record companies!

Saw him a while ago, he was in a Deep Purple tribute called Cheat Purple....he was amazed I recognised and remembered him from Nutz!

He turned 60, 2 days ago (27/4). Less hair, but he's still gigging!

You are a very lucky lady to be associated with such an amazing band as Nutz, i envy you.

Thank's for posting!
Mid 70's,red in a mag that Nutz were opening act for Queen so I was curious.
Found their second LP in a small second hand record shop somewhere in London.
I come from Sweden so I brought it back with me and just loved it.
Later also found their first LP on a recordfair in Gothenburg.
Last week lucky to find Hard Nutz to download
on Internet so now I'm only missing Nutz Live Cutz.
Also got 2 Rage Lp's.
They are so underrated.

I saw the Queen/Nutz tour gig at Sunderland -
I came away that night with this thought -

RIP John.
