@PokeOakly96 They edited it so that RD no longer says, "Careful Derpy",changed her voice so that she now sounds like a stereotypical blonde, and they "fixed" her eyes. In other words, they basically destroyed any trace of individuality and uniqueness that the character in order to appease a few butthurt puritan soccermoms who think that characters with goofy/dopey personalities are somehow linked to mental retardation, and that such a type of character is offensive and demeaning.

I mean, I imagined this bubbly woman that just looked really fake and plastic (since she comes from the Capitol) and I think they made her too... pretty. So now the way I imagine Effie is completely changed, but I guess it IS up to the reader's interpretation. After all, the actual writer of THG is involved a lot in the movie, so if anyone would know what their characters looked like it would be the author :P
