Like "Yellow Rose of Texas" and "My Pretty Quadroon," this song is a guilty pleasure, but too good not to sing. The pictures are also great; if I didn't know they were of re-enactors and re-enactments, I would swear they were of real Civil War soldiers and battles. Guess the South will never rise again.....now that most of the southern states are voting republican. Not much room for a rebel yell anymore. Long live General Lee and Longstreet!
