If I was locked up for 18 years and offered a plea where I would be released immediately rather than having to wait for a trial..which could take YEARS more of my life from me.. I would take it. Also the plea deal is very strange. They plead guilty while maintaining their innocence.

Damien and Jason also had the same blood types found on the necklace. I believe the sample was destroyed so no further testing can be done to determine exactly whose blood it was

@imaStonesFan I have my facts straight. I did not say that Terry blamed the black man. I said that he only claims to have seen a black man many years later. The question was why did he not tell police about it when they were trying to solve the murders. He said because three teenagers had been arrested. However, for a month the police were desperately trying to solve the crime and he never offered up this info. His explanation for why he didn't does not make sense.

@imaStonesFan Uh...the police did not catch the "killers" for over a month. Terry claimed to have seen the man the DAY AFTER the murders. A month went by and he never told them. They were desperate to solve the crime. The arrests were not made right away.

@pearljambuff He named which person at the scene had a knife. He told police that he was drinking Evan Williams. He said he left before the other two killers. So there are things Jessie said that police did not know while interviewing Jessie
So next we have forensic confirmations. Jessie told police he saw a person cut a victim on the side of the face. Jessie told police he saw a person remove the genitalia from a victim.

Someone else mentioned how the WM3 bragged about raping and murdering the boys...They were NOT raped... Also the wounds on the boys were not caused by a knife, they were caused by animals post-mortem (according to experts). The physical evidence does not match the confession at all.

2 of the families of the murdered children 100% advocate the WM3's innocence now, and they believe that Steven Hobbs murdered the boys. He was one of the boys step-fathers and the only one that any DNA evidence was found when they performed tests in 2007. Not one of the WM3's DNA was found anywhere at all at the scene, on the boys, or anything. Hobbs best friend's DNA was also found there.

The wm3, in a plea deal, admitted that they killed the 3 boys.
The defendants by acknowledging there was sufficient evidence towards guilt pretty much destroyed the supporter efforts to dismiss the evidence. All these years of back & forth between "nons" & "supporters" arguing about if there was sufficient evidence only to have the 3 convicted admit there was.

Don Bray to determine if she stole money from her employer. She says she implicated Echols & Misskelley to avoid facing criminal charges & to obtain a reward for discovery of the murderers & that Chief Insp. Gitchell made her and Bray sign an "affidavit of silence" since her son named one of the stepfathers as the killer.

GOOGLE "West Memphis 3 confession, witness corroboration and physical evidence" For example, two witnesses testified that they overheard Echols state that he killed the three boys, this was direct evidence; a confession is sufficient to sustain a conviction if it is accompanied by other proof that the offense was committed by someone.. There was substantial evidence of the guilt of Echols where the testimony of witness placed him in dirty clothes near the crime.

The other was a girl at a softball game who alleged that Damien blurted out “yeah, I did it and I have three more picked out before I turn myself in.” She has since said her impression was that Damien was shooting his mouth off & wasn’t serious. @imaStonesFan Hobb's hair was not found on his son's friend. It was found inside the ligature used to bind Michael Moore. Hobb's alibi and friend, David Jacoby's hair was found on a tree stump at the crime scene. There is no evidence that the sticks were used in the commission of this crime. You would be surprised how many people "confessed" to this crime and were never charged. They were taken to the crime scene and subsequently ruled out as suspects. why wasn't Jessie taken?
