  • vader, vader

  • @eneteachedos hahahahahahaha

  • なんでこんなに海外の人に聞かれてるんだろう?

    もっと日本人も聴くといいよね~

  • 明星の曲聞くと、とても落ち着く。気持ちが穏やかになるというか、感情の昂りがすっと消えていくような感じ。このハスキーな声が曲調とも合っていていい。

  • @hell043 Het leren van Hiragana, Katakana en Kanji is vrij gemakkelijk, Hiragana en Katakana zijn lettergreep geschriften, iedere kana heeft een bepaalde uitspraak/lettergreep;

    H -lg- K

    あ (a) ア

    し (shi) シ

    つ (tsu) ツ

    は (ha) ハ

    の (no) ノ

    Enzovoort.

  • The younger you are the better you are able to adapt.

I started learning Japanese on my own, when I was 17. Now I am 20 and still yet I only understand Hiragana, Katakana, Romaji and about 200~250 Kanji. Grammar sucks for me, I know the word order are like SOV in Japanese, rather than SVO in Dutch (My native language).

I got a friend from the therapy group I used to attend, he was 13 and managed to level my Japanese ability in just 14 months.

  • @NeoTomoyakun hmmm ik ben ook 20 maar hoe leer je dat? en leer je de spreektaal of ook echt schrijven(aangezien je hiragana, katakana en kanji kent ga ik ervan uit schrijftaal) maar heb je eerst spreektaal geprobeerd te leren? lijkt mij practischer

  • His pronunciation of "Hey there" isn't really that abnormal. It reminds me of Kentucky accents.

  • Danm the pronunciation!!

    He's a great composer. That's all.

  • この人日本じゃ無名だわぁ・・・きっとEnglandにいるから? ってか、この人の曲調おもしろいなぁ~奇妙だけど、心地いいっていう矛盾からなってる。 発音は・・・Nativeじゃないもん、気持ちで伝わる!

  • This songs make me smile and glad im still alive

  • Anyway, I don't like the people who think everybody in the world can speak english perfectly. It's such arrogance that makes them native speakers looking quite dumb.

  • @NeoTomoyakun Yes they can;Everything is possible with a little training, Adapation is the most common human ability :), even small children could do it, only old persons like us forget what we can do. And without trying to seem arrogant, I can personnaly say that I quite masterize three very different languages with their regular accents.(And my english lexical level is not very good but Am talking only about the pronunciation, even if I have to increase my vocabulary a little bit :) .

  • @NeoTomoyakun But I don't mean that other accents suck, no! actually I think that some of them are freaking awesome :).But I was talking about a different point.

  • @BahamutGuard Actually Japanese people can pronounce it perfectly if they want too. What you are saying is more about the writing. They don't have "er" (えr) as a syllabel in kana. Instead they would use "eru" (える). Pronounced with a soft and silent "u" making it sound more like "er".

  • i don't understand what he says...but this song makes me cry somehow

  • esse cara canta demais

  • この の 英語 が じょず だ と 思います。

good job akeboshi :D こえ が oasis みたい hehehe :D

    kudos!! ;D

  • @joniii247 ah machigaeta! この「 人」 を 言いたい です。。。 :D

  • この音楽はいいですね。本当にきれいです。でも、今日本へ帰りたいです。

  • I dont see anything wrong with his pronunciation of hey there, its fine it sounds good, people are so ridiculous

  • ich möchte nicht wissen, wie sich mein englisch mit deutschem akzent anhört :DD

  • @ZOOxXxYORK Ich find, das klingt immer ganz scharf. Also Englisch mit deutschem Akzent. ;D

Ich find das Japaner-Englisch total knuffig. Und Akeboshi einfach nur genial. Die haben ja in "Wind" auch schon bewiesen, dass sie es können. x3

Und hey, wenn du übst, geht auch der Akzent ein wenig raus. C:

  • ∩(*・∀・*)∩

  • Hey Thur Hey THur

  • @Xokishiro haha xD

  • Akeboshi is a Japanese version of Five For Fighting.

In addition to that, he is a good musician.

  • Is this English or Japanese? xd

    Just parts right?

  • I truly do not understand the dislike button, if you dont like it you just leave, move on and not place negetivity on what other's may find a brilliant song.

  • the reason he says hey there like that is because there is no "er" sound in the japanese language so thus it can't be translated into the romaji language-the "translation" of japanese to english- and as such it is difficult for him to pronounce it.

  • I love Akeboshi, but this song is a bit... unlucky

  • i love his guy's voice it's so smooth (no homo)xD

  • akeboshi sabeeeeeeeeee, xvr esta canción para relajarse un rato...

  • Man, i love akeboshi, but this is a total rip off from Creed's With Arms Wide Open, lol. Try singing it. Same chords progression, same tempo, same bassline, same GUITAR RIFF, same key. Even the same riff on the chorus. Try singing over it. This is lame, lol.

Anyways, I love both akeboshi and creed.

  • @ruiolas I owuld disagree, while it sounds similar i dont have the same instinct to love the msuc as i do with this one, i mean yeah i could sing along to it for a bit, but its not the same. There two different songs, lyrics and impact.

  • I will like to see an english speaking person who says he has a weird accent try and speak Japanese without one. The coin flips both ways.

  • @JorgeAyala16 ah but I grew up speaking both...

  • when i was listening to this, in the middle of the song i was on another site

and a popup came in with "papanamericano".. i like that song too, but i was

like >:C cuz everything has their limits right? that song is just OVERUSED :/

  • @Hattori95 you should check out the original version 'Pa Panamericano Original mas Video' for a laugh, its good stuff!

  • hater, haterr!

  • None of my friends know who he is, what a shame,

  • @MrTobi288 same here...im like the only guy interested in japanese stuff xd

  • He is awesome

  • his english is fine. engrish. but "there" sounds like "ther"

  • Akeboshi <3

  • His English is totally fine guys,I mean his slight accent actually makes it sound way better!

  • Im not asain(pardon me i dont know his exact nationality) and i still love this guyz music

  • @BADlorn He's Japanese

  • @BADlorn

    Japanese :)

  • this song is the perfect alternative to all this mainstream stuff doing one's head in..

  • 日本人アーティストがなかなかもってない哀愁。

  • I love Akeboshi his music is so touching and great XD!

  • uuff!!.. ya tiene tiempo que no havia escuchado esta hermosa musica...

  • Not one of my favorites at first, but this song has really been growing on me

  • who cares if he's japanese with funny english pronouncation.

    he sings with his heart.

  • @kus2ganteng na what counts is how it sounds to us

  • @kus2ganteng it's not funny english prononciation it's just the way he can pronounce :)

  • 23 people need to crawl up their asses and die.

  • anyone know where to get a his cd

  • i love his english voice <3

  • Comment removed

  • Is it wrong that when he says "hey there" he sounds like Kermit?

  • sounds like hes saying hather

  • he was not native speaker of english but he has a big heart in his songs he is singing. trust me.

  • I cant understanf this guy... but for some odd reason this sog means a lot to me. I cant explain it but it is a great feeling somthing that you only now by living. LIVE LIFE WITH OUT REAGETS!!!!!!!!!

  • @crazzyruch but you have to live... if you die...

  • @crazzyruch it is English and Japanese. He speaks pretty well in English.

  • XD!!

  • Well, he attended university/college in England or some other place in Europe, so that might explain why you see the castle. His schooling up there also had alot of effect on his style of music. This guy is great, but his latest albums are more "country". Sad to say, thats a turn off for me. ROCK ON ANYWAYS AKEBOSHI!

  • is he playing live any time soon

  • i love that his songs are relaxing.

  • this is my fav band

  • amazZzing Ake

  • hay therrrrrr rofl :D

  • Anybody know why this video was filmed in scotland? The castle at the start is definitely Edinburgh Castle...

Just wondering if anybody knows the meaning of some of the lyrics, if they speak of scotland or anything similar?

    Awesome song.

  • I could be wrong but I'm sure that's Edinburgh castle (scotland) in the background at the start. Might be wrong, but I've lived here for 18 years and it looks identical to it. Also the news paper shop is written in English, so it wouldn't be that silly to imagine the castle being Edinburgh.

    Good song!

  • I extra super love it

  • lol hey ther, i like the accent

  • its not dorky naruto is awsome its an adult show .and thats how i know of Akeboshi .there my fav band now

  • cool video! ^^ I learned of them from thier song wind from Naruto! he he I know it kinda sounds dorky...=p

  • No one should feel dorky for watching a show intended for an older audience(:

    I love Naruto<3

  • best japanese singer ever!

  • Ahhh i can't get this song out of my head i keep hearing HEY THERE! HEY THERE!.. AHHHHHHHHH..... lol

  • Hayy Theur! love it!! :)

i think mr akeboshi has a tiny speech impediment, and i believe this to be true. also the notes in which he is singing.. maybe they are causing the accent :)

  • To understand video first i would find out what is song about ;]

  • this is a fabulous song ^_^ but can anyone tell me what the video is about?I've watched it ten times and haven't thought of anything!!!!!!

  • well the best way i can interpret is the main singer's memories as a child following the wild flowers as they blossom and fly around in the wind or something. later on the child grows up and here comes Akesboshi

  • nice...

  • a very relaxing song

  • He sounds wierd when he says "Hey There" but Akeboshi is still great
