I'm a huge fan of mika's, but can someone tell me how mika is similar to freddy mercury.- apart from the fact that neither were born in UK and both lived in the same area of London, Freddie was talented in his own right., but .. Mika is a different level, mika is TRULY gifted song writer, musician, artist, he was made for music. His music is intelligent.

@angelaspendthrift I think BOTH Mika AND Freddie are & were "TRULY GIFTED songwriters & musicians" & yes,Mika is an incredible artist as well,though in my opinion,as both a Mika and a Queen fan,they were both "made for music" as you say,and both singers(ok,Freddie and sometimes his bandmates,usually Brian May co-wrote their lyrics,BUT...)BOTH Mika and Freddie's music are/were very heartfelt & intelligent. As for the similarity between the two,many see a resemblance in Mika's voice to Freddie's.

As depressing as it is, I think he's saying that, in the end, we're all the same in the sense that we'll all be dead and in the ground one day. At the same time, however, our efforts to change the world for the better must count for something before we've reached our deaths.

Or maybe I'm just reading too deeply into this? Then again, this is Mika we're talking about. Deep music with hidden meaning is his specialty.
