His playing is refreshing and artistic. Often this piece is played by older pianists with a sense of melancholy and pathos but this interpretation is on the youthful delicate side, without the unduly brooding as older pianists are wont to do.
This is a beautiful rendition. I took piano lessons for 10 years before undergrad and after 6 years of not having lessons, this is the only piece I still remember how to play completely from memory because it was, and still is, my favorite work.
This is my favorite piece of music that was ever written. I love Chopin! His interpretation of this song is heavenly. This is such a sad yet hauntingly beautiful piece.
finally a good version of this on youtube! hard to find as not many people understand this piece and the rubato in it, ill post mine soon when i get descent recording software
Absolutely, phenomenally, breathtakingly beautiful. This was played with such a wonderful amount of tenderness and emotion that I literally couldn't help but close my eyes and sigh. Wow.
Perfect Video with the right lighting and the golden classical column and the enchanting playing of this beautiful Chopin Nocturne by our talented and very expressive Magician Pianist!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful interpretation, Vadim! This piece kind of reminds me of a barcarolle with a gentle rubato like melody framed over a lilting baseline. This is just my impression of this beautiful piece of music.
Magnifica interpretacion, es mas tranquila y lenta que la version que he acostumbrado a aescuchar, pero igual crea una atmosfera bella de este nocturno.
Vadin Chaimovich, your are one of the better pianists that I have never heared, . Where are you from? Your interpretation of 1 st Nocturne is absoluty magnific. Slow, deep, I haven´t words for to say in English how much this intepretation likes me. God save you for many many years. Bye from Plasencia (Cáceres) Spain
I'm learning to play this right now, it's such a beautiful peace but I think in some parts he goes too fast. This peace sounds magnifacent when played a little slower than expected.
I think this version was ok, there are other ones which seem a little too fast though. When I play this song I also prefer to play it a bit slower than most pianists would. Great piece, like all Chopin pieces.
when i listened to your performance of mozart sonata no 14 in c minor (which i'm currently playing), i thought it was a little too free. but i love your interpretation of this piece. it's one of my favorite pieces by chopin.
This version captured and immersed me completely with his beautiful romantic feeling of this lovely nocturne which is one of my favorites. I felt like I was listening to Chopin himself playing through his fingertips. It took my breath away. And his amazing presence at the piano with his beautiful hand movements emphasized the emotionally charged content even more. Thank you Vadim for giving me a perfect moment today...
Delicate, delicious, graceful, splendid... Chopin!
