when we want to send an pic attachment through the playbook bbm, I can only see the blue n green pic icon and the name of the image but not the image itself which makes it very hard to select the pic!

Yes. You can do mail via the web. Hotmail, yahoo, aim. gmail without any problems.

if you hold it in both hands and type with your thumbs in portrait mode it is very easy to type quickly.

I am nate I made this video. To answer your questions yes the Playbook has a PIN but as of right now you have to link it too your BlackBerry to use BBM and email. As for 3g and 4g RIM only has wifi out right now but I have a BlackBerry and using the Bridge function lets me use the net where ever I am. The 3 and 4g models are coming out later this year along with native email and BBM with updates.

currently bbm is bridged with the BlackBerry for bbm, however the PlayBook does have a PIN, but not used yet. I do see it being native in the future though.
