Just to simplify everything for everyone viewing... SPB Shell is now available in the App Zone through verizon wireless to download straight from your device and install. This is a much easier method. Also you can uninstall the app just as you do with applications on a computer. So no it is not permanent if you do not wish to use it any longer. Simply uninstall it. Or keep it. Whatever you do don't lose the serial for the app if you choose to uninstall it. You may want it again in the future.

xpwczw, the omnia has windows mobile. which means that you can install things like flash. and has three full web browsers installed. since it has windows, as i said, it can install other apps and features as you wish. this is, of course, how i was able to install skins and the spb shell in the first place. do some more research and you will see it is a great pda phone.
on the spb website after you download the shell you can view the pdf on how to install it on site. to install the skins on the website that has the skins you read the readme file included on how to install them.
How do you download apps and all that on this phone. The forums I've been to, don't help at all.

that's part of the shell.... when you install it, the start icon hides or goes away..... That shit makes omnia l l l a a a g g g
The original windows is very good, you can either put the touchflo, witch doesn't ruin speed and looks aven better
