If you do a google image search for "harborfreight 20 off coupon 2011", top row, second from the left is a 20% off coupon good until 3/15/11. Print it off and take it into the HF store. You can get it for $56 + tax.

If the coupon expires before you use it, keep doing google searched; people post the printable coupons all the time. Just make sure to check the expiration.

@lukezdr Use the solution who are recommented for ultrasonic cleaner. To mix own cleaning liquide are not good idea since it has little effect in the ultra sonic cleaner.

Mechanicboy isn't exactly right (this is a guy who puts heavy parts directly on the bottom of the tank). MOST cleaners suggest just using water. Distilled water is best, but tap works fine. A LOT of people use 30% Simple Green with 70% water.

DO NOT use anything that is flammable. Ultrasonic works by causing very tiny high energy explosions against the surface of items. You can have flammable liquids explode. Also, use the basket; items in the bowl bottom damage the transducer.

@Hardwyre I need to break up soft organic plant tissue inside of a glass jar, is it possible to do it with this machine by simply putting a glass jar filled with water and tissue inside of bowl filled with water?

It should. If it doesn't, you can lay the jar down on its side and rotate the jar after cycles complete. Why not just scrub out the jar though? Or is it not a wide-mouth jar?

@Hardwyre It's for the sci. experiment, not for washing, soft tissue is floating on soft gelatin(not water) so I need to break up everything inside of the jar to tiny pcs's without opening the jar(contamination)..

I bought this cleaner, I did think the chamber was large enough to fit a lawm mower carb. It might if you do it twice and turn it over. I do mostly work on weed trimmer and chainsaw carbs.

you are not meant to put parts directly on the base of the tank. it ruins the acoustics of the ultrasonic waves and you get reduced cleaning power! you are meant to use a wireframe basket to suspend the parts..

@Mechanicboy The cleaner I bought 'James Products Ultra 7050' from ebay was useless. Didnt sound as loud or as powerful as this and has recently went faulty. Lost all confidence with the company already due to a bad design. I seen the unit you have here on eBay, is it a good performing cleaner? You can really see the ripples in the water at 50watt power in this video..

@MKUltraProject OK, I bought this cleaner. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. HIGHLY recommended! It performs as good as it sounds in this video! Even on 30watt Lo power mode it still amazes me how much it waves and ripples. VERY strong transducer in this little cleaner. Aoyue produce high quality electronics engineer tools. THIS is the best small cleaner on the market i'd say hands down.

On that particular one you can sit it on the base because the base is suspended. It doesn't take from the kinetics. their base is made to be a basket. That base isn't sitting on the table.

I have tried celaning damaged pcb's, it works well, the only problem is, that ordinary solvents like paint solvent or acetone will corode teh components very badly. Instead I used Isopropyl alcohol. It isn't corosive, cleans dirt, soldering paste (flux and similar greases) wit hease.

Possible, but you need the activator to keep the injector activated while the ultrasonic cleaner are in work. It will make easy to clean the inside of injectors.
