  • I like how the guy who uploaded this video only responded to 2 people named snatch98 and nutsack666!!! lol

  • @kailuagirl87 -not true

  • @theseventhday well NOW its not true!

  • @kailuagirl87 still no, look a little closer

  • @kailuagirl87 no, you created those other usernames. you only like snatches and nutsacks. i get it!

  • @kailuagirl87 I'm assuming that 87 stands for the year you were born

  • wish their were breeds like that where i live ..its so freakin hard to find a young doberman with a docked tail in the uk..

  • Hey i am wondering can you give me information about the breeder because i really want to buy a doberman and i am really intrsted so please can you send me the information through a message or comment me back please

  • why are his ears still taped up? is it because its a tall crop? he is a specimen though, he looks like hes going to be the man.

  • well thats not my dog. Thats ronin a 1 year old 65lbs doobie, a puppy still. She (breeder) has been doing this for years and producing many well natured, healthy dogs. Many award winning dogs as well. Excellent bloodlines from this breeder. ears are still taped up because they are not standing straight up yet. It may take 2 months of taping or 12...it all depends. ronin is a bit of a nut bag.

  • thanks for clearing it up. well shes a very pretty dog. just curious on the taping though, my dog had his ears taped for like 6 weeks and they stand perfectly erect to this day. he is 7 yrs old now. his ears also arent the "show crop" and are cropped to medium sized length.

  • ya, there are some that tape for 4 weeks and they are fine and some for 12 months, it all depends. my one was taped for under 8 weeks and turned out perfectly.

  • what state is this breeder in and does he have a website?

  • Beautiful Dobie! Why do people bitch so much about the cropping and docking! It's not barbaric and it's basically the equivalent of a circumcision but for dogs' ears and tails.

  • @Doberboy218 The same people that talk shit about cropping and docking, are the same people that cut their dog's nuts off. They just complain to complain and they make no sense. There is a purposefor both cropping and docking, but try annd tell a whiney ass bitch that....

  • @kailuagirl87 so truth dober are a good breed got a dober pup 3 month old myself, and fuck what other ppl said about the cropping and docking, they just got nothing to whin about so they pick the smallest thing they can find and bitch about it. DOBER for life

  • We own three dobies and the two females have their natural ears and the male has his cropped. I feel like the male looks more intimidating with his cropped and the females actually look more feminine. LOL. Like everyone is saying, it is by choice to do it. I have a question. We recently had puppies and we do not plan to crop their ears. We recently got bitched out for being irresponsible breeders. Is there a rule book that I am not aware of that tells me I HAVE to crop a Dobermans ears?

  • I don't care for ear cropping. However if done during the proper time it doesn't really bother me. I'll be picking up my doberman puppy after the first week in August and his ears will be kept natural. Ear cropping in this day and age is for appearance only. Unless of course you plan to employ your pup in search and rescue etc. My pit bulls have natural ears and they are just as easy to clean now as they would be with them cropped and what does home protection have to do with it?

  • Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion, I respect that fact. All my other dogs prior to this guy, have been natural. I just personally feel that Dobe's look better with their ears cropped. I will most likely be exploring some schutzhund training and in terms of security, an uncovered ear will yeild improved or better hearing versus not. Thanks for your comment.

  • My dog is docked, but ive never understood why they arent bred to have a short tail etc naturally.

  • I agree with ear cropping and tail docking, it's all about personal choice, dobies look da bomb with ears cropped and tail docked!

    VIVAL LA DOBERMAN!

  • Exactly..thx

  • how old was this dobie, when getting its ears cropped and what age is consider too late for cropping?

  • This one I believe was done at 6 weeks, the earlier the better. Ear cartilage is set by 4 months old.

  • do you feed them RAW?

  • no I should but only organics and healthy type snacks. veggies etc...

  • cropped ears + docked tail = one good looking Doberman. People that say that cropping is cruel never had a dog with an ear infection.

  • Within 2 months my one was done...turned out perfect...no issue's what so ever with him.

  • if the dogs ears arent docked then all the beauty of the doberman is gone, the docked ears give the dobrman a great look and looks more fearless to

  • *sigh* there is nothing wrong with cropping their ears. First of all it hightens their hearing by 20% more and cropped ear will help prevent ear canal infections and make the opportunity for pinna trauma and infection much less likely

  • you said it...the angle I was also going for was that there are far more critial issue's to persue other than this. Dog fighting, domestic abuse etc...but you are right.

  • well said, thanks....

  • yea....dobies wit cropped ears don't lead a sad life like those thousands of adused pets......ppl always fail to see this......

  • Exactly, there is a purpose to ear cropping and my pup seems to be pretty good with it and they are healing fine.

I just think, that there are more important issue's to chase that have no purposes but evil. I appreciate your comment.

  • I understand what you are saying, and I agree a little however, there is a benefit to doing this in terms of keeping the ears cleaner and for home protection. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we all have different ones. I partially agree with you but there is a purpose to this and we should focus on much worse issues, like dog fighting and owners who physically and mentally abuse their pets.

  • it's sad what they have done to her ears it is cruel.
