People it just doesn't come to looks of the car, I have owned an 90 FC for 9 years now. I have owned a FB also, the reason it's my dream car is it's unique, how many cars of that era came out with turbo rotary engines?

Nothing sounds as good as a rotary in high rpm almost like a formula one sound. They are cheaper then most sports cars, have a unique engine that can be played with in many diffrent ways, parts are cheap. And you don't see them on the road everyday.

Personally, my Fav RX-7 is the FB model, it's a car I'd like to own at least once in my life. I don't want to race with it, but rotaries always facsinated me.

So be prepared with all the problems a Rotary will bring you, and you better learn to do some of the repairs yourself, because finding and paying for a someone who have knowledge of rotaries is a pain in the ass and pretty Expensive...

Finally, I'm not sure if you want an imported model, but go for American models, they'Re easier to find

1. A Job with a steady income.

2. Plenty of patients

3. expect something to go wrong every once in a while.....

4. If you get a Turbo....Expect something to go wrong Every time you push it hard. spend over 8k to get a good set up then your good.

it's not expensive, only if you can't take care of it. you can buy a good/fair condition FC for around $2000, spend maybe 500-1000 bucks to give it a tune up, and you should be good to go.

thus, i would say if you can't afford to take care of it, don't drive one, but rotaries are more reliable thing pistons if you know what you're doing.
