American and Canadian automobile industries lacks one important thing, creativity. And it's the creativity that made Japan cars gain the popular vote.
Unless American/Canadian themselves show up some of their own creativity. Or else, they all will left behind in this competitive economy. No matter how Mr. Sinclair protest even to the senates.
Now the economic cycle is acting as if it is irreversible, even with stronger share values, due to the applied tool, which was not applied in the previous economies. And that is the reason we witnessed jobless recovery. Jobless recovery is no recovery and happens when the jobs are outsourced, not created.
Limited consulting always happened and it is good for the organizations to benefit from relative advantage.
More Americans need to take action to undo outsourcing.
Outsourcing is the required tool for causing permanent damage to the economy.
Before outsourcing came into play the economies used to go through the cycle and recover, it is no longer happening due to the tool of outsourcing that is in the play.
Why would you let China ship their products over here and put all our American companies out of business?
The Democrats and Republicans are both in on this corruption. They don't work for the American people anymore. THEY WORK FOR THE PEOPLE THAT PAY THEM; the global corporates. As long as the Dems' & Reps' get their cut, who cares about America? Right?

The problem here is the fact we're too selfish, and our selfishness is killing our economy. The Germans, French, Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, etc. support their economy by buying their products in their home country and by imposing sanctions against foreign goods. And that's smart. In American, we buy foreign goods because their are either (1) too cheap or (2) expensive and make us look distinctive. And not only stupid, but unpatriotic as well. We need to start supporting our economy as well.
Yes we have purchasing power and maybe its time to protest against all the greedy companies that have outsourced jobs for cheap labour....It does affect you so leave it on the shelf!

Idea:One measure the governemnt can take is to avoid housing collapse is to allow lower monthly mortgage payments for atleast two years if the homeowner is able to find a job or work, even if the salary or income is lower than expected.
The aforementiones should be part of the overall rescue plan.
When the governemnt can rescue the Wall Street, Banks, why should it not rescue the homeowner?

Dave Sinclair was a great man, and I have always driven domestic cars. Would not ever think of owning a car built by a foreign owned company.
