I'm pretty sure that even though I've never played iRacing, I've played enough racing games (simulators mostly) and watch enough motor sports over 16 years to know how to race in traffic or avoid wrecks like this. If only I had the wheel and enough money to race on here monthly.

@thomasg2488 you would think that, but its not so much you as it is everyone else who doesn't know what they are doing. Also sometimes you have nowhere to go, for example during the race king 300 a wreck occurred in front of us, the guy bounced off the wall and slid right into our path, stuff happens fast , oddly enough it was because he tried to go to pit road from the outside lane.

@webduelist True, sometimes unexpected things happen you CAN'T avoid. But I saw one or two chances to get through that. Really though, I'm a criticizer of these guys who get on racing games and don't understand the basic concepts of motor sports and can't race this close period. Me personally, I'm able to race this close on road courses like Laguna Seca and can make the pass without wrecking someone, at least in Forza and GT, but those are different games, but at least I understand the concepts.
