Nice! I'm currently trying to write a perl script to parse MIDI files and play them with beep. It works quite well and will play Want you Gone with the pc speaker at the moment.
Very cool! Pastebucket was annoying enough to change the line endings to /r/n, though. It wigged bash pretty bad, but it was simple enough to fix it by opening it up in gedit and re-saving it with unix line endings. I don't know why none of the modern distros come with dos2unix anymore.
